Martin was most welcoming and for that alone we will be back. It was a busy service. Starters were excellent, my friend enjoyed her fishcake with a perfectly poached egg. My shepherd’s pie was good. The creamed spinach was very good. A well chilled bottle of Chenin Blanc complemented the meal. Thank you. Overall a wonderful dining experience which we highly recommend!!

Absolutely awful experience. Very poor service, waited nearly an hour for the main meal. When complained we were categorically told we were only waiting 12 minutes which was absolutely not true. When food arrived it was very bland , there were 4 people all were similarly disappointed. Very poor experience. We asked for bill midway through our meal to ensure we didn’t have to have a long delay. Considering it was not full such poor service.

The experience was one of our worst with the Ivy and we use various restaurants around the UK. The service was very poor at the bar and at the table . Numerous times we asked for water did not arrive also table next to use had Rose wine and had to keep getting up to serve themselves. The food quality worst we have experienced the basic fish and chips was more batter than fish and over fried had better at neighbouring restaurants. My wife had a chicken dish ment to come with salad as described on menu arrived wive 4 pieces of rocket only . Understand busy but please do not let the brand name drop it’s normal excellence in food quality and service

What an experience. My first visit to The Ivy and it did not disappoint. Great food in a magical setting.

The level of custi.er service I received on a recent visit was close to exceptional. The food was excellent and not over prized. Dessert was amazing.

Was a lovely meal,not quite hot enough,had to ask a few times for wine to be topped up & to reorder. Very friendly staff
