Food and ambiance is alway great at Jack and Harry’s. Service is good but is the one thing that can be improved to take the restaurant to the next level.

We had a great time and the food was delicious. We were upset to find out the menu changed … again. The old crab and avocado salad was much better than the one I had tonight. I wish the beignets were still on the menu t seems like everytime we come something is different. I hope you guys can settle on some staples soon. Such a fabulous venue and fun atmosphere. We will try again!

This place was HOPPING for a Wednesday night at 7:30pm. Once you step inside, you forget you are at a neighborhood restaurant and feel like you've gone to New Orleans for the evening. The bar is great and bartenders thoughtful and friendly. The dining room is beautifilly decorated with the perfect lighting. We had a hard time picking off the menu, I wanted everything. Great salads, perfectly aged steaks, and sides that are worth both the calories and the pricepoint. It's not a quiet place so be ready to speak loudly and hear those around you speaking loudly as well. It made for a lively and fun evening!

REALLY good! Our daughter spent 4 years at school in New Orleans and this felt authentic. Excellent food- we were SO full. A little pricey which is also authentic ;-). but worth it. The sides themselves were incredible! Recommend for a special night out.

The most delicious dinner I have had in a while! The crab cake was amazing. Very single thing we tried on the menu was impeccable. I will absolutely be back!

I will admit, I have been critical of Jack and Harry’s in the past. Boy, was I wrong. This restaurant has THE best service and quality I have experienced in Dallas. Servers are extremely attentive with requests and service. They are also very accommodating to food allergies and sensitivities. If you are looking for a world-class dining experience for a special occasion or just a night out, please consider Jack and Harry’s. A special thank you to Johnathon and Dimitri from management for their exceptional kindness and accommodation. I would also like to mention our spectacular server Sheila who gave us amazing recommendations and took care of us beyond belief.

The quality of the food as well as the seasoning was lacking. The fried fish did not seem fresh with slight odor, and seemed to have just panko on it. The spinach was very lemony suggesting prebottled lemon juice was used, rather than fresh lemons. Especially given the price point, I would except better. The service was friendly and prompt, and the ambience welcoming, although tables near the bar can feel encroached upon when other patrons crowd around seated bar customers and block the pathway for servers.

Excellent spot for a business lunch meeting. Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch special, great price for a hearty amount of food and loved the variety of the gumbo, delicious salad, and the entree.
