Friendly service but one busboy delivered dessert, turned around and left our entrees on the table. Noah happened to walk by afterwards and noticed our table. He looked perplexed as to why no one cleared for us and he promptly cleared. Kudos to him. I mentioned this to the front of the house and she said she’d mention it to her manager. Incidentally she was very kind to give us our requested table. Except for the prime rib, food was lukewarm not hot. Good beet salad and bisque and halibut would’ve been better if it were hot. Pumpkin pie was still thawing. Crust was cold. For the price including tip we will have to take a pass on this for next thanksgiving.

Jack's has a beautiful setting, service was excellent and the food was delicious! Very reasonably priced, as well.

Great experience! Antonio was an excellent server and the support staff was very friendly and quick to respond to any request. We went for my daughter sweet 16 birthday. we will be back!

We’ve stayed at the portola hotel for the last 4 nights and have been to Jack’s multiple times in that time. The staff is flawless. Lex, Jasmine, and Matt (to name just a few!) are amazing. They go out of the their way to be helpful, kind, and informative. Food is delicious, and worth the cost. Will absolutely return.

Our server decided to give us less than an hr to enjoy ourselves. I had just barely order my second drink. After just delivering it she just dropped the check without ever asking if we needed anything else at all. I said that’s very poor service. Me and hubby decided to just pay and go next door to Marriott for a couple drinks more and dessert since I guess we couldn’t have at jacks. Our Marriott server was soo attentive. I regret not just going there for our entire dinner , we been to portola a few times since we are local and had never have such bad service. Will think twice to come back.

Nice clean place. Server was very prompt. Drink was pretty weak. Sliders were okay. Husbands flank steak was so tough he couldn’t cut it and he didnt finish it. Wasn’t asked why. We are staying the hotel so we went back for cocktails later. They were good. Not many other places nearby to go to.

everything was amazing, the short rib ravioli was great, (our waitress recommended but said it’s seasonal) the shrimp scampi was great, and so was the salmon. it was a nice lighter option. our favorite was the sourdough bread, as an app! get it! the only downside was drinks, was not a fan of the cucumber martini and usually i love those. 100% recommend for the food.
