    Had reservations for 7pm. on Xmas Eve. Kitchen had a fire. One waitress for the entire dining room. Waited one hour and 15 minutes to get food. COO of establishment came over to introduce himself. Had a drink while waiting. Must say bartenders are superb! Since food took so long, COO sent over an appetizer...no charge. He apologized. By the time we got our food, I ended up packing. Noisey, not festive. Bill was given to us. Compensation was not discussed for inconvenience until WE asked. Restaurant Manager took off the drinks. Left about 9:15 p.m. We have dined here many times since the pandemic has ended. However, since Jack Piatt passed away, restaurant management has not been the same. We will be back for drinks in the bar, but not dinner until changes are made.

    Honestly this one of the WORST experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. Let’s begin with the fire alarm going off but absolutely no one, including a manager came around to let us know what was happening. It lasted about an hour. In fact, out of the almost 3 hour dinner, no manager came to our table. Our server was disorganized, forgetful and extremely slow. No wine glasses were clean so we had to wait before we could drink our wine. She brought a glass of wine instead of the bottle we ordered. Then brought the wrong wine. We didn’t get receipts bc the credit card machine was down. We believe we were overcharged. There was only one special so a member of our party had to change his order. He purchased the chicken and which was cheaper than the special but she charged us for the special. Server forgot the Brussels sprouts and one of our glasses of water had something black in it but she never replaced it. Needless to say, a bad experience all around.

    We times at Jackson's for the first time since their remodel following the fire. The food has always been remains good. Our server was excellent. However, there is little to no ambiance as compared to the previous incarnation of Jackson's. This is highly unfortunate. The tables in the bar area and sadly in the main dining room are now cheap and cheap looking what looks like white veneer formica. Won't spend too much time on it, but it's difficult to feel as though it's a fine dining experience. It's understood that the new open floor seating fan is designed to handle more customers per turn. However, between the tables, the closeness of tables, and the lighting choices, there is really no sense of ambience. The entree prices have of course risen with inflation. However, it's difficult to justify those prices with the ambience issues discussed above. Great service. Fine food. Sadly, no longer a fine dining experience.

    We had Lunch with Santa during our visit and it was wonderful! The service was amazing, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Santa was great and we got to enjoy hot cocoa and cookies in addition to our lunch and make reindeer food. They made it a great experience for the adults and our kids loved it! My husband and I plan on going back there to have dinner for a date night.

    Four of us went for happy hour and then dinner. We had the Brussels sprouts, fried deviled eggs and the sashimi tuna which were are great. Shared the beet salad, the shrimp gumbo (fabulous) and the porcini truffle ravioli (also wonderful). The pear martini, my friend said it tastes like fresh pears and the espresso and pumpkin espresso martinis were very generous pours and great flavor. We will be back!

    We were there on a Friday night when they had live music. Very busy, so service was a bit slow but to be expected. The food was delicious and the drink specials tasty. Will definitely go back.

    Great food. I had the 8oz filet, my wife the pork chop, and our son the mac and cheese with steak tips. We also shared an order of garlic and wine mushrooms. All of us enjoyed the meal. Service was very friendly as well.

    We all had the prime rib. It was the best we have ever had. Sarah the bartender was great and Ruth, our server was wonderful. We will definitely be back !
