Welcome to JAM ,
Enjoy a warm and relaxed dining experience indulging in the tastes of North Queensland . We like to explore our region's seasonal produce and create contemporary cuisine without compromising the purity of flavour.

The JAM menu offers quick bites for a catch up through to our full a la carte selection. We also have a great special luncheon menu which is always popular.

As the sun sets over the CBD and Castle Hill sit back and relax over dinner at one of the window tables or enjoy the views of the river and CBD lights on the terrace. For a romantic dinner we recommend requesting one of the private booths. Try the Shared Experience a delicious and generous selection, great for 2 or more.

Our wine list offers a generous selection of wines ranging from small Australian producers through to stunning international champagne and wines.

A selection of Small Bites starts your generous and jovial banquet, perfect with cold beers, Champagne and conversation, Then choose your main course to share, Sumptuous Seafood Platter - NQ Prawns, Bugs, Calamari, Scallops and more or Succulent Meat Platter - featuring John Dee Rib on the Bone and Kiewa Valley Lamb cutlets, both platters are served with sides and sauces. Fantastic lunch menu. Great range of vegetarian and all meats and seafood. Each course was perfect. Flavoursome, quality ingredients, unique flavours, good serving size, timely service.

Food was very ordinary. My main meal of prawn and calamari had only two prawns! My husband had battered barramundi. The batter was an inch thick and very hard. Quite inedible.

Overall, we had a lovely lunch. We ordered a medium steak and it was blue in parts. So that was disappointing. But other than that, everything else was lovely.

Staff was very friendly and professional, the food was excellent thank you. Dessert was a small let down as it was sharing one bowel of chocolate trifle served with forks which was a bit hard. Everything else was awesome thanks again.

There were several issues with our order, wrong entree brought out, main had an item that we asked specifically not to be on it, very hot with limited aircon. Overall food was nice, but given prices would expect better eye for detail in service and comfort (re temp).

Service was impeccable, the food was amazing as always and the restaurant itself was perfect. Jam is by far still the number one for high class eating experience in townsville.

Amazing, we gave the share experience a go and enjoyed absolutely everything. From the 4 entrees, the main and dessert, plus our cocktails we had the best time and look forward to returning ❤️

Fabulous restaurant in the heart of Townsville - walking distance from some of the major hotels/accommodation. The ambience of this restaurant is wonderful - the interior design is modern yet reflects the history of the building. The service is excellent (we only had one small issue when our entrees were served prior to being served our drinks), and the food is always delightfully tasty as well as being good sized portions and good value. The cocktails are outstanding. We will definitely be back!

I was at jam corner a few weeks ago, and ALL of the food I received was cold on presentation. My experience this time was the entrees, while pleasant to eat was served cold again, truly disappointing. My main meal was served hot and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but all 3 of my fellow diners were disappointed with their maim meals.

My fiance and I were celebrating a birthday and Jam is an obvious choice for us to have a really special experience. The service is always amazing and the choice of food is great. We had 3 starters to share, a main dish each and a dessert to share, and of course a great bottle of wine to accompany it all. The waiter was very attentive and the overall ambiance was lovely. Thank you!
