   Javi’s did not disappoint. Our reservation was honored and we were taken right to our table, party of 5. Our server was awesome and made sure we were being serviced throughout the dinner. The vibe was lively and nice crowds. The restaurant was clean, great staff and tasty food. My favorite restaurant in Tyler, TX.

   We decided to make our first try at this restaurant a special date night, and it certainly had a charming location and atmosphere that we loved! However, we did face a bit of a hiccup when we found our table and booth a bit dirty, prompting us to wipe it down ourselves. Thankfully, our reservation was ready within five minutes of our arrival, but the service was a tad slow—especially when it came to our drinks. On a positive note, the queso was absolutely delicious, and the salsa was lovely too! We opted for sharing the ribeye fajitas, which came with a twist called “sunrise.” This meant melted cheese and fried onions on top, but unfortunately, it wasn’t quite our flavor preference. We felt it took away from the wonderful taste of the fajitas themselves, so that’s something we might skip next time. We rounded off our meal with a Tres Leche cake, and wow—this was definitely the highlight of the evening! My wife couldn’t stop raving about how delicious her margarita was, too. Overall, while we enjoyed this visit, we definitely think there’s room for improvement in the service, wait times, and restaurant cleanliness. We’re excited to give it another shot, perhaps on a warmer evening when we can sit out on the patio and explore more of their menu offerings!

   Outstanding food, good service and very comfortable & relaxed atmosphere. Best Mexican food that we’ve had in Tyler! Highly recommended. Also, the availability of Open Table for reservations is a key feature, as this is a very popular establishment.

   Wait staff are accommodating and provide good Has a nice atmosphere and is clean. Food is just OK.

   Made our reservations through OpenTable and our table was perfect. Amber was our server, and she was amazing. We had a wonderful time with our birthday celebration. It was perfect.

   The worst dining experience we’ve ever had. We had made a reservation for the patio. We were seated indoors and told there was no room on the patio. A few minutes later, I heard our names being called by the hostess for our reservation. Because we were already seated they did not honor our request for the patio. No one came and served us. We had to find a manager who finally was able to bring us some drinks and chips. The server was terrible. Took our credit card at the end and returned without the credit card and brought back the itemized bill. Not the one that you can sign but the original bill. The people next to us paid the server in cash and he came back without their change. It was beyond parody. I’ve been to this restaurant a handful of times prior to this, and it was fine. But after this experience, I will never go back.

   Javi’s was excellent. Margaritas were good, food was good, wait staff was attentive. Little pricey, but considering the quality and amount of food we got, was definitely worth it

   We had a wonderful pre-Valentine’s luncheon today. Isabella was our server and she was outstanding. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a date with my bride of 43 years.

    Service was not good. There were only 3 tables upstairs and we had to ask for everything. Server was not attentive at all. First time not having great service. Hopefully it was just an off night for our server. Overall food was excellent, just had to wait till everyone got there food before pepper and salt were brought, again after asking. My husband got his food 2 nd out of 9 of us. After 9 was served, then they brought his sunrise sauce that should have come when dinner was served. Multiple times we had to ask for refills. Just not typical service from our past experiences.👎🏻
