Jocko’s Steakhouse is family owned and a longtime Central Coast favorite. Our family’s
hospitality roots date back to 1925, or so the story goes. Jocko’s is legendary for hand cut aged
steaks grilled over an open fire of red oak coals. A style of cooking native to the area that dates
to the Spanish Rancheros. We offer an extensive dinner menu serving a variety of steak cuts,
ribs, pork chops, chicken, seafood, steak burgers, specialty sandwiches and more. Jocko’s offers an extensive wine list, a broad assortment of cocktails and both draft and bottled beers. The specific brands and serving costs are available at the restaurant.

Nos gusta venir de vacaciones a San Luis obispo y hace 5 años empezamos a visitar Jocko’s . Ojalá el dueño lea mi comentario . Le urge una reingenieria de procesos ( mejora continua ) . Espere 45 min y tenía reservación , la mesera dio buen servicio pero nuestro pedido llegó una hora después , la ensalada tenía aderezo de más , mi carne estaba sobre cocida y la papa se les pasó la mano con toda la mantequilla que tenía . Es imposible manejar 35 min para ir a cenar , esperar 45 min para una mesa y después 1 hr para un platillo malo . En mi caso no pensamos volver . Mucha suerte para los dueños y ojalá mejoren en su cocina .

2 large Spencers ordered rare and they were. 2 small Spencers were ordered medium rare and they were. 1 large hamburger and 1 chicken sandwich were both awesome. 3 sides of asparagus were perfectly cooked. Switch back to the relish dish and eliminate the garlic pickles; they don’t add to the dining experience. We were surprised to have only 3 other tables occupied at 9pm on New Year’s Eve, so the north dining room was quiet. We recommend Jocko’s

Excellent rib eye and filet along with sides. Very nice and competent staff. Highly recommend.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants but our experience here on this visit was subpar. We ordered drinks and one of the three drinks was incorrect and the waiter said to just order another one after drinking the first one. He didn't offer to replace it with the correct one. We came for my birthday and usually order Alaska King Crab Legs at a cost of $89. We add an extra plate for $14 and are usually very satisfied. We were supposed to get 22 ounces of crab legs. We received 6 of the skinniest crab legs with no knuckles at all so half were just the tips with no meat in them. If the total weight was 16 ounces I would be surprised. The crab was overcooked and was sticking to the shells. There was not one full bite of crab in any of the 6 legs. It was only the little that we could scrape from the inside of the shell and it was dried out. Then came the complimentary dessert. Our waiter said that there were only 2 ice cream choices (usually there are 4 or 5 with vanilla with chocolate sauce) They had spumoni and eggnog ice cream neither of which appealed to me. So he stuck a candle in my husband's eggnog ice cream and sat it in front of me and walked away. It was not wonderful service and the food was worse. I will give them another chance but the food had better improve.

Spare ribs and streak were excellent; cooked to right degree. Sweetbreads a little undercooked. Mushrooms were with prepackaged batter. Mushrooms were very good, but batter detracted from the dish. Server, despite not being overly busy, lost track of the sweetbreads. They were supposed to be an appetizer, but came with the dinner. She disappeared at the end of the meal, and we had a very long wait to pay our bill.

I .ade a reservation over a month ago for 7pm. They kept us waiting for 45mins while others that had bo reservation, were seated in a ti.ely manner. Then each person in .y party of 6, ordered a 16oz rider. He brought them out and they were all good looking steaks except one. The last he brought out was very thin and did bot resemble the others. When asked if we could get a replacement steak, the waiter said that's what you get and walked away. Our steaks were under cooked and the waiter didn't provide any alternatives to the thin cut steak which we ended up.sending back. Bor did he come to refill our drinks or check on us to see if everything was good. That was a horrible experience and very disappointing especially because we drove from Paso Robles to Nippmo for to celebrate my boyfriends birthday.

Simply outstanding dining experience. The food was delicious and fresh, generous quantity and value, friendly service. It was no-frills, but man oh man, yummy steaks! Will definitely come back again and worth the drive!

I’ve never seen the grill that full of meat!! Food was excellent as usual and our server was the best I’ve had anywhere!
