   Amazing dishes as always. Andrew was an outstanding server. Joe Vicari is the very best restaurant operator in town.

   The bunch buffet dishes varied and some were not as good as plated selections.

   We usually dine at JM downtown Detroit. This was our first time in Bloomfield. Brunch was underwhelming. There was a nice variety, but the salmon, sea bass and prime rib were not seasoned at all. The eggs also tasted over-done. Everything else was ok. Also, our server was a “loud-talker”. She yelled, “Are you ready to see the damages?”, as she brought our bill to the table. She also stopped checking on us towards the end of our time there. I couldn’t ask for a cup of tea until she brought the bill (which was the first time we had seen her in a while. If I do return to this location, I will request to not be seated in her section.

   Everything was immaculate, I love seafood and this restaurant has been on my list for some time. I ordered the Calamari and Lobster Bisque for my appetizers and my date ordered the strawberry salad; 10/10 everything was great. For dinner I ordered the Lamb chops meal and I must say it was a flavorful meal above any other cut of lamb I’ve had. We also ordered the Brussel Sprouts to go as it was a must try being a highly chosen vegetable by myself. Cheers to Lee, Driton, the Chef and all the other outstanding individuals who made my date and I’s experience above and beyond. I will definitely be returning to experience other meals on the menu and recommending every person who’ll listen to do the same.

   Our waiter Edward was great. Helped us with our choices and then the wines to go with them

   We have noticed changes in our experiences at Joe Muer. First, they stopped serving complimentary sparkling water, then, in subsequent visits, we saw that the food portions were shrinking smaller and smaller. Tonight, in addition to this, we saw that the bread basket is half of what it used to be. The tuna, was also half the size it used to be but the price was no lower. The same was true of the whitefish. The portion was half the size that it used to be only a few months ago, but the price was not reduced. The only thing that seemed to be a generous portion was the octopus, but unfortunately, it was so overcooked that it was like rubber and could not be eaten. The Bronzino was good, but again, very small. It is with great sadness that I have to say we will not be back anytime soon.

    We celebrated our anniversary with a post-theater dinner at 10:15 PM. We were treated as if we had arrived at prime-time...no rush and paced service. Our waiter, Ethan, was attentive and detailed. The food from appetizer , entree to a complimentary celebratory dessert was flawless. The pricing was fair given the inflationary time in which we live. We won't wait for another celebration to return. Bravo !!!
