Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Mediocre at best. Particularly considering the prices. Go to a real seafood restaurant.

Our food was over cooked. Crab meat were reduced to a small meat. We were so disappointed we did not order more. Although our bill was over $230 for 6 person. We were planning to order another bucket when our son arrived but judging from what we are eating while he was gone we decided it is not worth it. They should have been maintaining quality of their food. Everything was dried even our shrimp set of appetizers.

It’s a 30 minute drive for us to go to this restaurant. we got there early in the evening, it was not crowded however the service was slow. Ordered the king crab, expensive, it was very dry, not fresh. The bathroom was disgusting, makes me wonder how people live. Very disappointing.

The food is always excellent but going during the afternoon it's much quieter. Sunshine and views out the window make the perfect setting

Novelty restaurant not worth your time or money. Had a reservation at 6:45 PM on 10/17 for my son‘s birthday. Waited 10 minutes after the reservation time to be seated so as not to “slam the waitress”. Once seated we waited 20 minutes before we were greeted. Once greeted we immediately ordered drinks and appetizers. Ran out of chips with the shrimp dip and asked for a few more, they never came, my drink glass sat empty all night, my husbands sat empty for 30 minutes (I had to ask for a refill). The soup and salads came out with the entrees. My side of crab did not come out with the food. All of the food that did come out had sat and my BBQ Creole shrimp was inedible. Shrimp was mealy. My son’s food was lukewarm, my husband’s salmon was dry from either being overcooked or sitting so long. The waitress offered to have the crab legs comped because of their delay, they were on the bill. 6:45 reservation and we left the restaurant at 9:45, service was awful. Terrible experience.

Service was really slow. It seemed there were not enough servers for the amount of tables he had. It took almost half an hour for our food.
