JOEY Restaurants marries iconic hospitality with a handcrafted, locally and globally-inspired menu from award-winning chefs, to bring an unparalleled guest experience. In the heart of Orange County’s luxury shopping destination, Fashion Island, JOEY Newport Beach is an opulent oasis. The space features a gallery wall highlighting several hand-picked local artists and a unique Bocci light installation. Boasting 9,367 square feet, it includes an open patio which features a bar and retractable sections of roof, providing coverage and the ability to open to the day or evening sky. A large-scale outdoor fire pit offers guests an inviting lounge area, this space is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of well-deserved champagne fireside after a day of shopping.

Always love eating or drinking at Joey's! The interior and exterior is so beautiful and the food never disappoints. It's a perfect spot to celebrate, have dinner, or just grab drinks. I also love that they give you champagne as you enter - it's such a small but nice gesture that I appreciate.

Food was mediocre. Disappointing place- felt like going to a PF Changs. Service is spotty and young, not well trained seasoned servers. Very busy place, a novelty in OC since it just opened. We ordered our appetizers and entrees and within 5 min everything was brought to the table, at once. So if you ate your appetizer first, your entree got cold. No one asked if we wanted to pace our order or warned us that they bring everything at once. We went from drinks to a table to a table full of food within a few minutes which tells you that none of this food is prepared fresh. Again, PF Changs. A turn off. If you want a fast bite and quality does not matter, may work for lunch in between shopping at Fashion Island. That’s all it amounts to.

Great service and good! Our server Gracie was just an absolute Gem! Went on a Friday night for dinner and it was busy and happening all night long!

About of potential but at least the food was good a meats were cooked to the proper temperature. The place would be much better if the wait staff were better trained and attentive. Multiple waiters brought the wrong food and drinks to our table. Waiter almost spilled my date’s drink while reaching over her to fill her water glass. However, the noise level was so high with the other tables and the music my date and I couldn’t hear each other without yelling. Not a great first or second date spot.

Our service was terrible. We had to send back our Chilean sea bass because it was extremely fishy. We ordered the steak frites and the amount of pepper on the steak made it difficult to enjoy. Our server was very nice however we had to bus our own table and we were awaiting anyone to come by so we could order more drinks for way too long. I had to get up to ask somebody to get us a drink. We spoke to management about our experience and he was awful to his server right in front of of us. I felt terrible for her. It looked like a terrible management situation for their servers. Lastly, A 99 dollar steak on the menu and you have paper napkins? Yikes

Had a wonderful lunch! Food was great. We had the Korean cauliflower, the tuna and avocado roll, the burger, the salmon and the steak and ravioli. Everything was delicious. And Emma was a fantastic sever!

Food seems to have declined. Mediterranean Bowl hadn’t much hummus and no tzatziki. The bowls are smaller in size. The expresso martini was SO small for $20. Not a good value for the money.
