In the heart of Orange County’s luxury shopping destination, Fashion Island, JOEY Newport Beach is an opulent oasis. The space features a gallery wall highlighting several hand-picked local artists and a unique Bocci light installation. Boasting 9,367 square feet, it includes an open patio which features a bar and retractable sections of roof, providing coverage and the ability to open to the day or evening sky. A large-scale outdoor fire pit offers guests an inviting lounge area, this space is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of well-deserved champagne fireside after a day of shopping.

Great spot to dine on New Years Day. Everyone from the hostess to our server were very welcoming and kind. We were offered champagne upon arrival and given a dessert to top off the holiday meal. Our server was exceptional in every way. We ordered a large salad & sushi. Both were tasty and well prepared. Highly recommend for a higher end feel but casual atmosphere and delicious food.

It was a great place to celebrate New Year’s Eve! Great drinks and fantastic food! It was nice they had a DJ made things 100 times better!

Joey’s continues to have good food but the atmosphere and people are horrible. Our actually server was a good guy but had no help to provide attentive service. The hostesses are plain rude and should all be replaced. How hard is it to smile and be genuinely nice to people you are supposed to be serving. Music kept getting louder and louder so you couldn’t speak across the table. Unfortunate for a place that should be fun with great service and food, just makes it hard to go back.

Disappointed in the service. Our service seemed to disappear for long periods of time. Then gave us the wrong check which we had to correct

Fantastic New Year's Eve experience. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and this was one of the better, if not best, experiences. The service was outstanding - attentive, accommodating and friendly from the very start. We were seated at a great table for 2 on the patio, which had plenty of warmers and had a reasonable level of noise, given it was New Year's. Our server allowed us to sample a couple of wines before choosing, which was unique and awesome. They bring the "Canada friendly" experience to life!!

My second time here! The food is good but not great! Went to share some apps with my parents after work…One standard sushi roll is $23, tasted like a $17 roll. Steak French dip sliders were nice, could’ve use more cheese & flavor, but the meat was cooked to perfection. Fried cauliflower was very nice and one of my favorites with a nice Asian spice . Truffle parm fries are $15 and the amount they give to share with the table is criminal, should be twice the portion, but tasted nice, fresh and crispy nonetheless. They are more parmesan forward rather than truffle. Overall nothing to write home about. Will probably be back in the future for the vibes and to try another entree at some point, but the prices are about 10% too high for the quality/quantity you get
