In the heart of Orange County’s luxury shopping destination, Fashion Island, JOEY Newport Beach is an opulent oasis. The space features a gallery wall highlighting several hand-picked local artists and a unique Bocci light installation. Boasting 9,367 square feet, it includes an open patio which features a bar and retractable sections of roof, providing coverage and the ability to open to the day or evening sky. A large-scale outdoor fire pit offers guests an inviting lounge area, this space is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of well-deserved champagne fireside after a day of shopping.

Disappointing Experience Despite Special Request I recently made a reservation specifically requesting indoor seating due to the chilly weather. We were seated on the patio while we were assured the heaters would be on, the temperature control was inconsistent, as the heaters would turn on and off, likely to accommodate other customers who found it too warm. This is understandable, but given that we had requested indoor seating, it was a bit frustrating. Throughout the evening, we consistently had to flag down our server to request another round of drinks, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the drinks themselves were disappointingly weak. The food, while decent, didn't stand out, and overall, the experience didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I’m unlikely to return.

Wait staff was super attentive and helpful. Ate the steak and salmon sushi - weird combination but it was really good.

Food was excellent! We had a great server but it was cold and consequently food cools off quickly. Lots of heaters but one whole side exposed and wind kept picking up.

Very nice dinner to kick off the New Year with my sister. The chicken lettuce wraps were good as was the sushi cone. We enjoyed the patio seating and the ambiance.
