    Outstanding for dinner and lunch, which we happen to have on the same day. Out waitress for lunch was absolutely outstanding and very service oriented. We were seated quickly after arrival and all food and drinks were worth the time and price. It’s hard to find places that are consistent, but Joe doesn’t disappoint. We will be back for sure.

    i usually love joeys and it is one of my frequent spots but on this particular visit my steak was cold and the portions were a bit smaller than usual☹️

    As a young server myself , I am always highly critical of restaurants and service, because I know how the system works in most places… Also considering that I have applied for a JOEY position and understand how competitive their jobs are and how they strive for “Hospitality Excellence”. Last night I was disappointed at JOEY Rideau. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our 2 year anniversary, which I wrote on the reservation notes… The hostess at the front kindly congratulated us on our special day, and brought us to our table. It then took about 5-6 minutes for any server to come to our table. After that, we ordered some drinks and the gyozas for an appetizer , and the food arrived before any cutlery or our drinks. I get that this happens, as a server sometimes the kitchen just beats you. We both had steaks for dinner, and the food was great. I wish our server had said something about the anniversary, as I know it is the responsibility of the server to make us feel welcome and such. Not a terrible experience but considering the prices and standards that JOEY holds I feel we did not experience hospitality excellence .

    Staff was fantastic and very professional. Answered all our questions. Offered to adapt our meals to our preferences. The music was very trendy and upbeat. Food was just incredible. Everything was perfect.

    Endroit agréable, bonne bouffe! La musique est toujours un peu forte, mais c'était tout de même acceptable.

    Amazing food, service and ambience. Our server deserves a raise, she was so patient and went above and beyond for my daughters to feel special on her early bday celebration!

    My partner and I found the food to be good for the most part. We ordered the truffle parmesan fries and Korean fried cauliflower to start, then the steak with sushi and the herb crush salmon along with drinks. Everything tasted good except for the steak. I found it to be very chewy and the taste ok. Also, when I was served my steak with sushi, the waitress dropped my plate onto our table and it rattled for a couple seconds and she didn’t acknowledge it or apologize and walked away. My partner and I weren’t checked on for a while as well. Often needing to wait around 20 minutes before someone would come up and ask how we’re doing and if we need anything.

    I added a note in my reservation that it was for a birthday and asked that they put a candle or sparkler in the dessert we would order but when the dessert came out it had nothing. I was really disappointed.
