Julep Bar stands as an illustrious recipient of the prestigious James Beard Award, celebrated for its exquisite blend of craft cocktails, thoughtfully curated bar bites, and an enchanting ambiance. The menus, ever-evolving to mirror the changing seasons, captivate with their meticulous emphasis on fine ingredients and flavors. Located on Washington Ave between Sawyer and Silver St. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and B&B Butcher's Steak House is within walking Distance.

We always take walk-ins so shoot us a texas or stop by and see us if you don't see a table available.

This unique event will feature a lively discussion with Toni about her groundbreaking work, the women who have shaped Southern cuisine, and the culinary techniques featured in her book. As part of the evening, Toni will share insights from the book, followed by a cocktail demo from Alba Huerta, showcasing a Southern-inspired drink. This event is a celebration of history, flavor, and the remarkable women who’ve influenced the American South’s culinary legacy. Tickets are $35 (+ tax) and includes two cocktails and a light bite. Add a copy of Toni-Tipton Martin's book for an additional $43.30 (+ tax).

Stopped by for a one drink but ended up having more and some small bites. Loved the ambiance and the service! It was the end of happy hour and very chill. They make one of the best Vieux Carrés in the city!

Love this place in general. On the weekends they get kind of busy and flustered sometimes come off as rude but mostly a great spot.

The manager came to our table 3 times to tell us that we will need to vacate our table by 9 . I had made reservations on open table for 7:15pm, he started approaching our table at 8:40pm saying open table reservations are for 2 hrs only while there were 3 empty tables in our close vicinity. Very disappointed with his behavior, will not recommend

We were a group of 8 who decided to have pre-dinner drinks and light snacks at Julep for Valentine’s Day. This was my first time going and I was not disappointed. The ambiance was really nice in the room they sat us. Almost felt like a speakeasy to me. The cheddar popcorn and French onion dip with caviar were delicious. Drinks were great and the staff were nice and attentive. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and I would go back to try more of the menu items.

Julep is a quaint cocktail bar with a vintage feel. The staff was kind and the playlist was a vibe.

We had a lovely time at Julep. Our server Carlos was very attentive, and the Manager Nelson was too. The drinks and food were delicious.

The cocktails were delicious and so was the flatbread! 10/10 would recommend and plan on coming again!

Very disappointed. “James Beard” award winner is the draw. Don’t buy the hype. While nothing was “bad”, nothing was great. So many options in the area I would pass on this one for another experience.
