Kalapawai Cafe & Deli offers residents and visitors to Kapolei a friendly place grab anything from a morning cup of coffee, a delicious deli sandwich or pizza to an award winning full service dinner that includes burgers, locally caught seafood and the freshest salads. Pricey, and a little crowded, but great tasting food. Wish the portions were bigger but would go again. (Once a month)

We enjoy the food at Kalapawai because they take things that you often eat at a restaurant and give it their own flare. The servers respond to your needs and are very pleasant and fun (thanks for great service, Kelly). Food prep takes a while. This is to be expected from a place using fresh ingredients and scratch made entrees. We have enjoyed every dish we have ordered. The temperature inside is cool, so take a sweater or sit outside on a nice day.

Glad we ate dinner at this establishment. Everything we ordered, from the Crab & Artichoke dip and Maui Onion Soup, to the pizza and burgers was wonderfully prepared and delicious. We are definitely returning when we are back on Oahu. Plus the prices are much more reasonable than the Ko’Olina restaurants.

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the island, and I’m so happy they opened a location in my neighborhood. I especially love their seafood dishes, but honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming. Enjoying a meal with someone you love, paired with a glass of wine, makes for the perfect date night at this place.
