A type of Japanese drinking establishment which also serves food to accompany the drinks. They are casual places for after-work drinking. "Izakaya" entered the English language by 1987. It is a compound word consisting of "i" (to stay) and "sakaya" (sake shop), indicating that izakaya originated from sake shops that allowed customers to sit on the premises and drink.

Many of the food items were dropped at the table with no description. We ordered alot of dishes and they weren't very well coursed and we ended up having a very crowded table. Drinks were really good. Deserts were average.

Instantly became one of our favorite restaurants. Hands down one of the best meals at a restaurant my wife and I have ever had.

The food was delicious and creative. The atmosphere was perfect for any occasion. The service was ok. The server took a long time to come once we were sat and didn’t come back regularly. On top of that we had to ask multiple times for our drink orders. It was busy, but service wasn’t awesome. The food was art on a plate, and we will give it a try again based on each divine bite.

Fantastic meal sooo good we had the happy hour menu. The service was the best part of our night, down to earth nice team of servers. The hosting staff was great too. Perfect date night.

Went early on a Wednesday night. Place packed when we left. Food excellent and staff very attentive. Looking forward to going back and trying more food!

Great food! Spicy enough without being too spicy. We ordered 6 dishes and 2 desserts for 4 of us, and ate way too much, loving every bite.

Excellent meal with an excellent server-Silas was informational and kind. Food was out of this world. Only issue-like many places they have batch cocktails, so if you want to change a drink from vodka to gin you can't. They also refused to add an ingredient to a cocktail. Really the only bummer of the night. Seems like the Bartender needs to brush up on hospitality. Will be back on a night I am not drinking.

One of the best experiences I’ve had eating out. Food was outstanding, service was excellent with great recommendations offered by our waiter, the Maya Bae cocktail was 🤌🏻 and the atmosphere was perfect - laid back and all about the food. Going to be a go to spot.

Service felt VERY rushed. Felt like we were inconveniencing the server as she was very overwhelming to our table. Read your tables better! Sat down and immediately wanted our drink order — hadn’t even flipped over the menu yet to look. The food however, outstanding. Next time we go, we will probably just sit at the bar.
