Kettner’s Townhouse is a restaurant and Champagne Bar with 33 bedrooms, in a historic Georgian building in London’s Soho.

Established in 1867 by Auguste Kettner, Kettner’s was one of the first restaurants in London to serve French food. The French restaurant at Kettner’s Townhouse has a menu inspired by the history of the building, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, using locally sourced ingredients from the UK.

Delicious food and great service. It’s a bit noisy, but nevertheless perfectly fine even if you are a party of two. Strongly recommend it

The staff were attentive; the ambience was quiet and pleasant. It was not a busy lunchtime. I had a steak frites dish. The steak was good, but the fries were overcooked and were like eating crisps. They should never have left the kitchen. I mentioned this to a staff member, and I was asked if I wanted something else. At this point, we were finishing the meal, so a replacement portion would not have made sense. For this type of establishment, the fries should be top-notch. Shame.

Incredible. Fantastic service, amazing food and wonderful cocktails and wine. Love that you can get a carafe of wine. Brilliant will be coming back!

The focus for staff to upsell is too much. Every choice we made we were encouraged to go for something else. I ordered chicken because I wanted chicken, but was pushed by the waiter to go for the Porthouse - not what I wanted, not what I chose. Really too much and left a bad taste. Certainly won’t be going back for a long time! Silly and short sighted on their part

The ambiance was lovely—charming and cozy— and the Oysters were fantastic. It’s a beautiful spot with potential, but the slow service took away from the overall experience.

great service. The Maitre D moved us to a larger table to accommodate an unexpected guest, and the waiter was attentive and helpful and juast really good
