Our lush oasis sets the tone as a social gathering place. Refined, but never rarified: Executive Chef Samuel Peery presents exceptional seafood of the Gulf, respectfully seasoned with bold, creative flavors inspired by the cuisines of France and the Amalfi Coast. Every plate here is a celebration of the shore. Our inspiration is European, but our influence is distinctly Louisiana. The food was great and our waiter was attentive. However, we thought we were attending a festive brunch marketed as tinsel and tinis. There was tinsel but no martini trees or holiday themed beverages as advertised and no bar tender. Overall not the festive atmosphere or experience we were expecting.

Food was excellent, as was the wait staff. I highly recommend the short rib and the escargot.

Excellent food with attentive staff. Couple of minor issues with service, but all handled by staff and management. Half chicken and tuna were delicious. Special papa Noel and mulled wine holiday cocktails were tasty and festive.

The staff and managers were very attentive. We booked at 5 right when they opened. I recommend this time slot, we were the first ones in…so staff was plenty, by the time we left every table was full and lively! It was a nice balance.

The Reveillon Dinner was great. The wine pairing was a great match and priced well. Wait staff did a great job and was very accommodating.

Our meal was delicious from the bread, entrees, and desserts! It just gets a bit noisy if you're seated near the bar area, which was made louder by a rowdy group near us. It just makes it difficult to have a conversation at your table, especially when you have a hard of hearing person in your group.

We had a top notch evening from start to finish. Service and overall attention to detail was exceptional. All our food was delicious. We had both breakfast and dinner same day here and both were excellent. It has an authentic French brassiere vibe.

Beautiful space, but after that it went downhill. The food was luke warm to about room temperature. Would have been better if it was at least brought to the table at a decent temperature. However, their greatest fall was the service. Our server stated that he and another female were working in tandem. We only had interaction with the male wait staff. After the cold food arrived, we NEVER saw him again. We never had any drink refills, asked if we needed any thing else. Our plates were not taken off the table. Countless wait staff walked past our table and saw the table. Clearly no one appeared to be a team player. Then I had to stop a young man who was the bus boy and ask for our check. As we are leaving the restaurant we see our waiter. We were in town for Thanksgiving and we ate earlier in the day at Luke. Luke was by far the more superior restaurant. I would recommend Luke if considering a nice, quality establishment. They all worked as a team and were quite professional. King was more of a Peasant.
