Located near New York National Historic Site, King Rustic Restaurant and Bar serves all American comfort food. The restaurant is known for serving hearty meals with specials cocktails that are prepared by its resident mixologist. It has a casual indoor and patio seating area and its main attraction is the bar, which is awash with dozens of lights. King Rustic Restaurant and Bar has a lunch, dinner and drinks menu. It serves dishes such as pastas, burgers, chicken and beef entrées, sandwiches, wraps and King Rustic's classics. Some of its popular dishes are rustic chicken meatballs, Moroccan lamb sliders and mama's lasagne. King Rustic Restaurant and Bar's owner King Rustic uses special ingredients, passed down from generation to generation, which is what makes his dishes popular.

    Great atmosphere. Friendly and pleasant staff. Cool King West downtown vibe. Love the open doors to the patio on the sidewalk. Overall I'd like to go back and try some other items on the menu.

    We were in a group of 11 and everyone enjoyed dinner however multiple drink orders were forgotten and the server had to be reminded multiple times. There was also an appetiser that came well after everyone's meals only after the server was reminded. This was the only issue and perhaps it was only the server because the food and atmosphere were great and drinks were delicious.

    We dined at King Rustic for Summerlicious. The offerings were tasty and for great value. We had the Portabello Mushrooms to start which were delicious, then the Chicken Marsala which was not more of a fried chicken dish with pasta which was tasty but the pasta was lukewarm. Our Server was extremely friendly and helpful. It was our first time and we would recommend it. The other downside were the wooden plates on which the food was served. I understand it goes along with the rustic decor, but they are not really hygienic. Thank you.

    Came with family for Summerlicious menu - whole impression would be much better, however our dinner lasted for almost 2 hours with almost an hour wait for the main course and at least a nalf an hour for desert. Waitress was very nice and friendly and we were told that they have issues to pace food for Summerlicious menu.

    Once arrived, they told us they do not offer the Summerlicious price anymore. I booked it though OpenTable for the Summerlicious menu offer. We were on time, they just decide not to offer the menu. Was really disappointed. The alternative food was still good tho.

    Was looking forward to my first Summerlicious lunch for 2016 and was utterly disappointed. Location from work was very convenient, but that’s where it ends. Options for starters were Butternut Squash Soup, which they didn’t have, Field Greens with Roasted Peppers & Goat Cheese or Tomato Soup. The salad and tomato soup were ok, nothing spectacular. For main courses, options were as follows: King Rustic Burger (a little messy), Raspberry Bliss Salad, Blackened Tilapia Wrap and Turkey Club House. They also state that “All burgers, wraps, and sandwiches served with Rustic's Cajun Fries”, however, not the case when their deep fryer was not working. They could’ve fried fries the old fashion way with a pot of oil on the stove. Optional substitutions were, the Field Greens with Roasted Peppers & Goat Cheese salad or garlic mashed potatoes. We both opted for the garlic mash. Was ok at best, but a little on the thin side. Dessert…Fruit Bowl 'n' Crème, Strawberry Shortcake or Strawberry Bundt Cake. All of the dessert options were not available because they obviously didn’t do any grocery shopping for the menu. We were offered either Shortcake (no strawberries) or chocolate cake (notice how that wasn’t even part of the menu). Chocolate cake is chocolate cake when you really didn’t want it. All I have to say is that if you have a set menu that you have the ingredients for it. Go grocery shopping!

    The food was good aside from the meat balls being cold. From the beginning of the dining experience, everything seemed unorganized. Appetizers were brought to the wrong guest as one of the appetizers were meant to be eaten as an entree. Then when the entree's came out, that same appetizer was not brought out. Food was not brought out at the exact same time as it came out in three different waves. One meal was brought out 15 minutes earlier than the other entrees. The last wave was brought out when all the food was brought out and we had to ask for it because it was missing. The quality check was not asked until after everyone was finished their foods and we had to stop a server in order to ask for what we were missing regarding the food. And when asked about missing foods, one of the servers were rude in their response. I understand that the restaurant had been short staffed at the front of the house, but the meal quality and the meal frequency was unacceptable. Did not have any expectations coming into the restaurant, but was deeply disappointed in both the quality of food and the quality of service.

    Summerlicious menus not good. I think their regular menu is better. Good cocktails. Little slow on services. Overall cool place I'll try again next time

    Love the décor and ambiance... it has a vibrant feel and a great take on comfort food dressed up. Was disappointed the scallops were no longer on the menu as that was one of my favorite. Brought two friends who had never been there, both loved it and said they would definitely go back.

    Food was delicious and drinks made perfectly. Very attentive service. Didn't like the music turned off and the game music turned up, this lovely restaurant turned into a sports pub that it's not
