The Kinneuchar Inn is a 17th-century pub and restaurant which champions great food in an intimate setting. We recently were awarded Best Local Restaurant in Scotland 2023 by The Good Food Guide.

We serve a daily changing 'a la carte' menu, based on ingredients sourced from the Balcaskie Estate and a handful of carefully curated partners. Our menus are seasonal and produce-led, aiming to highlight the quality of the ingredients.

Helmed by James Ferguson (formerly of The Connaught and East London eatery Beagle) and partner Alethea Palmer.

    We had a beautiful anniversary meal at Kinneuchar Inn. The food was just delicious (it never disappoints) and our server was so attentive and lovely. We can’t recommend it enough, and will always come back!

    Amazing food, especially the lamb's kidneys. Somewhat pricey but definitely worth it for a special occasion!

    Loved the seasonal menu .Great choice of dishes from snacks to desserts. Good sized portions. Despite being full we ordered Madeline’s to share at the end of our meal -they were made freshly and tasted amazing . We booked the bar area as we had our dog with us ,lovely staff looked after him with treats and water. Looking forward to a return trip ,hopefully soon 👍

    A lovely dining experience. Definitely upmarket but also very casual and relaxed. Great food and service. Probably the best restaurant in Fife!
