Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Charlotte, NC , Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.

Parties of 5+ call: 312-659-1951 between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

If you are past the 15 minute grace period your reservation will be forfeited then you will be accommodated as a walk-in.

    Very disappointing experience here. I dined at other locations and have loved it. Charlotte’s location makes me never want to eat here again. Portions were tiny compared to what I’ve had before. Drinks were horrible and the service was extremely slow. Definitely not worth the price!

    I took my BF to celebrate his birthday he loved everything about it except that almost all of the entrees was ala carte, other than that we had a great time the waitress was amazing. My only suggestion would be to provide a few more options of food that doesn't so much heat, I can't have a lot of spicy food so my choices was limited.

    I recently dined at Kitchen + Kocktails, a well-known establishment in Charlotte, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. While the restaurant boasts a vibrant atmosphere and significant popularity, it left much to be desired in terms of service, value, and overall organization. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that despite having made a reservation well in advance, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be seated. Adding to the frustration, walk-in customers were seated ahead of me, suggesting a lack of coordination or prioritization for reserved guests. Once seated, the dining experience was a mixed bag. The food was decent but unremarkable—flavors were standard and portions modest, failing to justify the steep prices. At this price point, I expected either exceptional quality or unique culinary creativity, neither of which were delivered. The service further compounded the disappointment. The staff appeared overwhelmed and inattentive, which resulted in delays in ordering, refills, and even receiving the check. Despite this, an automatic gratuity was added to the bill, which felt presumptuous given the level of service provided. In summary, while Kitchen + Kocktails clearly attracts a crowd, it seems to rely more on its reputation than on delivering a satisfying dining experience. For those seeking a seamless evening of good food and service, I’d recommend exploring other options until these issues are addressed

    Entered (2nd time visiting) to loud music where conversations at the table and with the waitress were strained. Food is great, but don't sit beyond 90 minutes after you pay because you'll be asked to leave for the next seated party. There's an automatic 20% gratuity for each check, while the expectation is to further tip the waitress. Music is very loud, and the hostess and entrance table is staffed with non-caring professionals. Will not visit again, nor do I recommend this place.

    Nope. Not ever going again. We were there to celebrate birthdays. I noted the reservation and reminded the staff we were celebrating birthdays and no happy birthday! We heard the staff going to all the other tables singing happy birthday with dessert and we were just overlooked! Food was NOT good. No thank you. We will not be back!

    Went to Kitchen+Kocktails on a Friday night. The vibes were nice and you immediately feel good walking in on a red carpet. That was a nice touch. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the music is sexy and urban contemporary. Things I loved: ambiance, drinks, and the food is amazing 10/10. What missed the mark completely is service. Our server seemed to be having a bad night and was short when speaking with us. She rolled her eyes and stormed off when we said we needed a minute to review the menu since it was our first time (she had already rushed us to place drink orders which we did). We later tried to diffuse the situation and explained we are new patrons to the establishment and she explained that she had a bad customer experience prior to us. This restaurant is super busy so I can understand and sympathize, however my dining experience was now ruined at no fault of my own. Now to be fair, I did pay attention to the other servers and overall they seemed pretty amazing and attentive so it may have been just a one off with this server. Nonetheless, I would say overall this is a really nice restaurant and I would give them one more try. Reservations are essential if you want to avoid a long wait.

    The ambiance at Kitchen & Kocktails on Friday 12/6/24 was truly a vibe. Our server, Hailey was attentive a cordial. The only downside to my experience was the ala carte (only) option. If you're going to charge $20 for a chicken entree, it should come with at least one side dish.

    1st time visited with my daughter in the evening, but visited again on 7th December for brunch at 11 am and way different experience.
