   Service was average. I honestly thought the food would be a lot better, more flavorful. The greens were great but the Mac n cheese and catfish were mid; as were the crab cake egg rolls. I expected someone’s auntie to be throwing down in the kitchen and unfortunately that’s not what happening. I had high hopes but will not return and cannot recommend.

   Food was delicious! Despite being understaffed those working were very nice and did their best. Lamb chops and honey garlic wings were quite memorable! Would go back! Drinks were "DC priced" so I will resist the urge to state the obvious!

   Friendly staff, server was nice and energetic! Delicious food. The place is small but perfect for catching up with friends and found street parking easily.

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant during my visit to DC, and I must say, my meal was absolutely superb! The quality of the food exceeded all expectations, with each dish being deliciously crafted. The atmosphere of the place was perfect as well, adding to the overall experience. Having traveled all the way from Georgia to celebrate my birthday, this restaurant truly lived up to my high expectations. If you're in the DC area, I highly recommend putting this spot at the top of your list. A big thank you to the chef for making my birthday dinner so memorable!

   This was my second visit to Kitchen and Savage, and once again, everything was fantastic. I had the catfish, macaroni and cheese, and greens — all of it was delicious. My buddy, who’s a tough critic, came along for his first visit, and he enjoyed everything too. Our server was outstanding and incredibly personable. We’ll definitely be back.

   It was a fabulous, pleasant experience. It's not a "value" place; however, the server and food were GREAT!!

   I’m truly hoping we caught this restaurant on an off day. You have to pack your patience to support this business. There was only one server, we weren’t seated until 30 minutes after the time of our reservation, our drinks came out after the appetizers and entrees, the Caesar salad came out with no Caesar dressing on it, and the crab egg rolls were visibly burnt. There were other things that occurred that were completely unacceptable, but I’ll leave it at this: We were asked to share the last pitcher of water with the table next to us.

    It was my pleasure to experience Kitchen Savages. The atmosphere & experience was great. I would recommend it. It’s amazing they’re only two years old. We had the Mumbo sauce wings with Mac & Cheese. The Brussels sprouts & cornbread with Catfish. The Passion fruit margarita was delicious. I would come back the next time I’m in DC.
