   Another amazing Sunday lunch! Great ambience, wonderful service and reasonably priced. The cauliflower cheese is my Roman Empire!!

   Great food, try the treacle bread and Guinness butter! Bit slow on service but probably because it was so busy. We were running late and they kindling held our table. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area

   Wow! We have found our new favourite local pub for a Roast dinner! We don’t normally do 3 courses if we go out for Sunday lunch but the menu looked so good we had to! The service was great, the decor warm but modern with a little luxe nod too. We loved the extra special touches. The roasts come with cauliflower cheese, a bowl of super crunchy potatoes (plenty) , an extra jug of gravy plus sauces for each roast meat. The Kite have thought of everything. My husband’s words were ‘Best roast I’ve ever had!’ That’s a big statement especially as a foodie. The starters & puddings were also insanely delicious. We will 100% be back on another day to sample the regular menu. Thank you.

   Another great meal at the Kite. Service was excellent and it wasn't too noisy as most tables were occupied by couples. We had starters of mussels, arancini and cauliflower croquettes, followed by short rib pie with decadent clotted cream mash, and bavette. Deserts of Rhubarb crumble to finish. All excellent. only small criticism, the black garlic aioli wasn't black and tasted a bit too vinegary and not of garlic. our son recommended the Sunday lunch to a friend who said it was great too. We look forward to our next visit!

   Came here last week and had a lovely chilled lunch. We both got the bavette steak which was delicious and Jess gave us a great wine recommendation to go with. Would always return here for great food and service!

   The food was very good as it always is. The service was mixed we ordered cocktails and they arrived after the starters! We asked the waitress to hold the food and she agreed- so it worked out well- would definitely recommend the Kite.

   Had a great evening, it’s always classy and today was no exception. The Valentines’ Specials were excellent :) Thanks so much to our waiter Alfie and all of the staff, we will be back!

   Fantastic food and fabulous service. We really enjoyed the relaxing environment, we could easily chat and hear each other. Food was outstanding and they were really accommodating to my friend who has to follow a certain diet. Great value set menu, a really fantastic experience

    A bit disappointing to tell the truth. It was over half an hour before we got a drink and then had to ask to order as felt food would be so long. The staff were friendly enough but just not very attentive. Would have expected a finger bowl with mussels but didn’t get one. The food was really good but we just wouldn’t return any time soon which is a shame.
