   I had a friend visiting from abroad that’s celiac and I researched places to eat in Manchester and came across Kitten and I’d heard good things. We sat down and made the waitress aware of the allergies, and were provided with a GF menu, the menu was quite limited but there were a couple of dishes we choose to share - The Sashmi Platter, Broccoli, Potatoes and some Seabass Ceviche. We ordered two cocktails, a 5 mins later we were told we couldn’t have the potatoes or broccoli or anything cooked in the hot kitchen due to possible traces of contamination. So we kept the platter and ceviche, 5 mins later we’re told we can’t have the ceviche due to traces. So my friend ordered the animal sushi roll instead. Our cocktails arrive and she’s told she can’t have the cocktail or any cocktails due to shakers maybe having traces so we need to swap out her drink. A lot disappointed so far, we ask about GF soy sauce and we’re told that all soy sauce is GF. Sashimi platter arrives and my friend starts to eat and dip in what we thought was soy on the platter, until a staff member arrives apologising that it is not soy on the platter and to stop eating. We explained we’d ordered of the GF safe options and she advised the sauce should have been swapped out but by this point my friends already consumed some. They didn’t offer to discount or remove the dish or any of our meal due to the issue and it left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. Wouldn’t recommend for celiacs or Gf diet. The also ask my friend is she was a ‘proper’ celiac which I found a little offensive.

   The presentation of the food was outstanding. We ordered the sashimi platter, the dragon roll and the spicy tuna roll and they were amazing. The wasabi and pickled ginger tasted so good with the sushi. We also ordered fried chicken pieces and beef fillet tataki and it was so delicious. The cocktails were delicious however they were very strong- stronger that I thought it would be! That wasn’t an issue though, personally.

   Place is stunning all the stuff r lovely however food quality is mid. Not worth the money ygm.

   Not professional customer service. They charged us the wrong amount (doubled the amount we had to pay). When we asked them to check again, it took them a while to realize they charge the wrong table. They even made us check through the bill again after they refunded us the surplus amount. It showed that they were not professional (could not calculate the right amount). The way they solved it was not subtle too (they could give us a drink or a dessert to say sorry that’s called good customer service) The food was alright. We loved the fois grass and tuna taco. The rest was not bad cz we had better Japanese food before :)

   A very nice night, food and atmosphere was fantastic - however the junior staff let it down slightly. We ordered a number of dishes to share, expecting them to come out in waves to ensure we weren't over faced. As we started to receive the first few dishes a lot started to follow and it was apparent they'd all been put through without consideration. I asked a member of staff to try slow them down but she said it was too late. We then had a few dishes cleared as we were still eating from them. For premium prices, service also needs to be 5*. The food was delicious, service just needs a little work.

   We ordered 6 dishes and all of them were great, with the edamame to nibble on (which were really nicely charred!). The food arrived at a fairly fast pace but this was good as we were hungry! Highlights were the sea bass ceviche and the tuna tacos. We both had a dessert and they were both amazing, too. Service was attentive but not pushy, knowledgeable. Music playing created a nice ambience. Thanks for looking after us.

   Staff kept rushing us by asking for bills and putting plates away even though we are clearly not finished

   The sushi here is unreal, very kind service to recommend their favourites and popular dishes people choose and the entire vibe of the place with high ceilings just makes it an unreal place to eat.

    It wa amazing . The only thing that i didn’t like is they don’t have hot drinks
