   Nice area, the staff was nice, but. Dry very slow, they were not attentive at all. Which was very weird because the place was practically empty. We got our appetizer after our entrees and it was cold. Had to go looking for the waitress to ask if we could pay our bill. I guess they’re not in a rush because it’s the only restaurant on the property and within 10 miles

   New menu has some great choices and good value for the money. Very attentive wait staff, highly recommend.

   Restaurant recently replaced their house wines with new brand. Total rot gut junk, bad move Tapatio.

   The Service was mediocre. The server was initially good. But when asked for hot sauce, she forgot to get immediately. The kitchen ended up bringing after I had almost completed the meal. The Country Fried Steak was tough. The Buttermilk biscuits were hard. The ambience was great. Wish the food matched the ambience. Much like my comment for the meal on Valentines Day, the food at a Resort should be exceptional and high quality to match the amount of money being asked to pay. That would have made the visit to Tapatio better.

   What a disaster! Reservation for valentine day dinner at 7. Arrived 6:50. Told the kitchen was an hour behind. Seated at 7:45. Waited for ten minutes until approached by waitress. This scenario continued the ENTIRE meal. We elected to have the four course Valentines dinner. The food was mediocre at best. Other patrons visibly upset and annoyed. We anticipated staff comping at least a glass of wine but nope. We will NEVER return.

   The hostess was great and took us immediately to our table. The ambiance was great. The server tried but still forgot about us at times. Initially thought it was due to lack of enough staff but as the evening declined she was not as quick responding as she could have been. The kitchen seemed to be in mass confusion and the servers were having to explain or take the complaints. Orders were slow, incorrect when leaving kitchen, and not well done. The brown sugar brined pork chop was dry and not tender at all. The “bison” country fried steak was somewhat tender, not great. The mashed potatoes were, eh, just okay. The wedge salad was just okay as well. Surprisingly out of the whole meal, the collard greens were the best on the plate. The price for the meal was expensive when quality of the product is considered. If I’m paying the resort level price the food should be top notch resort level chef cooked food.

   Was supposed to be 4 course meal for Valentine’s Day was a 2 hours waiting game to get food and when got food was cold food after waiting 2 hours to get served/ was supposed to get dessert and got our tab before we ever got our dessert - so cold food and no dessert

   Food was over cooked or sat for a while before being delivered. Pork Chop was dried up.

   We had a 5:30 Valentines Dinner. Our main did not arrive until after 7:00 pm. It literally took over 1 and 1/2 hours to get our main dish. The waitress kept apologizing and offered us a free glass of wine. Finally a manager came to us and offered to comp our dinner. Once the food arrived, it arrived cold. We went ahead and ate it but only because it was our Valentines Dinner and we had already been waiting an hour and a half. The kitchen really ruined the evening, the waitress and manager tried to make right. We won’t be back.
