La Fina was a pleasure. The service and food were excellent. It was a Sunday; but you would think it was midweek by the number of tables occupied. I was given the opportunity to taste two wines before placing my order. I had the bone in ribeye. My wife had the scallops. Both were cooked to our liking. As a go to venue - I would say it is equal to or better than Boston. Although expensive, it is worth all of what you pay for a night on the town.

Best service yet! Food was delicately seasoned and decadently prepared. Everyone paid attention to our kids without making them feel like children. TREMENDOUS JOB!

This was the third visit for a special occasion. Each time we’ve visited, we’ve reviewed the wine list and made a selection. Each time, the wine we’ve requested has not been available. It feels like a constant bait/switch with the published wine list. Overall the food was good, the service was not at the level of the elegance the restaurant strives for. Will likely not return, not worth the 1 hour drive.

A lovely restaurant but understaffed. There was no one to see us when we arrived on Sunday. My friend was given two menus by a staff member and told to seat herself wherever she wanted. When we placed our food order,, it took well over a half hour to arrive. The server came over to acknowledge it would be out soon and then stayed to “chat”. I didn’t appreciate that as I felt it was rather intrusive. We are both friendly, but this was a bit strange.

Apart from the bread and the reheated baked potato which was “luke-cold” and not very good, most of everything else was either very good or excellent. The scallops and prime rib entrees were very good. The fresh oysters were also quite good. The creamed spinach was excellent as was the crème brûlée and a pear crostata. The Bloody Mary was good but had an overdose of horseradish (and that’s saying something because I love horseradish!). A pear-based cocktail and both wines by the glass were excellent. The prime rib entree seemed a bit pricey, especially since it came with no sides. All in all a very good meal.
