With a relaxed, refined atmosphere, La Palma is the perfect spot to catch up with a friend over drinks, dine with your lover for dinner, or celebrate your most special occasions with family. Chef Craig Harding's food is Italian at heart but the menu at La Palma reflects a California sensibility and remains playful, reflecting dishes and ingredients from other Mediterranean cuisines and cultures. Whether you're grabbing take-out for an impromptu picnic in the park, or enjoying a patio dinner with a view of sunlit Dundas West, La Palma has you covered.

For parties of 6-9 we strongly recommend our Family Style's Chef's Menu. This multi-course meal includes several dishes from our a la carte menu plus exclusive off-menu items--most of the dishes are served family style, as our menu was created with sharing in mind!

Seated in the upstairs part of the restaurant right by the hostess stand by the entrance. It was distracting to have the hostesses talking to each other facing me. Made it difficult to be in the moment with my guest on a special night.

Love the ambience at La Palma!!! We had a great time- celebrating a birthday…spinach crostini was delicious…piri piri chicken was good- Brussels sprouts were charred…and sent back. Nice to see winterlicious packed the restaurant on a a Tuesday evening… Our waiter was fabulous and he made it really a nice evening!!! Attentive -without hovering!!!

Love, love, love this restaurant! So many years on and it's still as great as ever. Really friendly service and very relaxed atmosphere.

Delicious food. Absolutely wonderful pastas and veg dishes. So so good. Restaurant seemed a little short staffed but a slightly longer than expected wait time was more than made up for by great, friendly service.

The food and service at La Palma were excellent. We dine at many top restaurants in the city and were really disappointed with the portion size. We went for Winterlicious. Appetizer, entree and a desert should leave you full. We all left hungry.

The food at La Palma was spectacular, lots of fantastic vegetarian options, sides, pastas, pizzas, mains. Sophisticated and delicious. 5/5! We had beluga lentils and rapini with horseradish, which was magnificently balanced to feel effervescent in the mount, celeriac agnolotti - this may not mean much to anybody but this was arguably the best pasta I ever had! - and my partner a branzino with navy beans. All divine! And also playful and not stuffy! (We loved beluga lentil dish even as we now think that the tahini dressing was missing - still lovely!) Thank you La Palma! I gave 4 stars for service, even though our sever was lovely, because of restaurant policy to make the whole table order a la carte or winterlicious, even as the winterlicious menu has no vegetarian main. I was offered dishes from which meat was to be removed, which is a strange advice given the availability of fantastic vegetarian dishes in the menu. Also please never ever offer to remove meat to make something vegetarian friendly if you are serious about your food AND your clients!
