We had dinner here before a show at Paper Mill. Everything was delicious and the servers were great and fun to talk with. The shuttle for Paper Mill also picks up for close by. It made for a great night! I’m sure we’ll be back.

Our experience at La pergola is always fabulous! The food is always top notch. Our visit Saturday was even more spectacular! The food of course is always great but the service was better than ever considering all the Christmas parties they had to attend to! Would recommend to all!

This was our second visit. My wife and I had a great experience. The food and the service was top notch. I made a mistake. One of the specials was chicken parm with pasta as a side order. When they brought out the special it was served on a large board. It look like a large pizza but was chicken parm. It was delicious but I could only eat wife. Beware of the specials unless you have a large party to enjoy it. My wife had the filet of soul of which she loved.

Very close proximity to Paper Mill Playhouse, which is why we chose this restaurant. The staff asks if you are coming or going from a show and makes sure your food is paced accordingly if you are headed to the theater. Food was OK - standard NJ Italian fare with personable waitstaff. We were a tad shocked when we got the bill - two of us ordered specials, one chicken and one beef and I guess my mistake for assuming the specials would be +/- a few bucks from the standard menu items but they were not, the chicken parm was over $50 and the steak was over $70. We're not cheap by any stretch, but this was a very expensive dinner for just OK food. Also the chicken parm was served on a wooden cutting board - I am not a fan for sanitary and food allergy reasons. Not sure if we'd try this one again.

Four happy people after dinner at La Pergola! Crazy large portions of really good food. The Veal Milanese was to die for!
