A secluded Castle Street entrance will lead you up a winding staircase to the warmly lit first-floor dining room with hues of traditional Mexican pink, yellow and blue setting the mood for the selection of comida Mexicana on offer.

Walking past our open kitchen to your table, you will see an enticing array of Margaritas, Mezcales, Tequilas and Mexican beers being served from our bar, ready to get you in the fiesta mood.

Our tacos are made with traditionally crafted soft tortillas made from stone-ground Mexican corn called nixtamal, generously topped with a choice of delicious fillings.

Out for my wife's birthday ,5 of us eating so we had a wide range of starters and mains everything really tasty, done a bit of tasting the different courses that every one had loved it great way to eat look forward to returning

Absolutely loved our evening out here. The food was proper Mexican food, and had cactus and so many different vegan options to choose from. Will definitely come back!

A very chilled and relaxed vibe from the word go. server sat beside us and explained how to "build" your order. he was very informative and helpful without being overbearing. restaurant had a nice crowd and was buzzing. guacamole was a delicious starter and not too filling both chicken and special tacos were fabulous, the patatas were the perfect side. mexican beer and soda great too.

Food was good but service was terrible. Eye rolls when we were ordering, sighs when we asked what was good in the menu and being rushed throughout. Our mains actually came out 2 mins after starter and we weren't even a quarter through our starter with no apology, just left the on table. There wasn't even enough space. We ended up taking our post dinner drink elsewhere, we felt unwelcome, and a friend who was sitting at another table commented that it was a "flying visit"...not intentionally!! We appreciated we were late but we still had 1hr15 at the table sitting...we stayed 45 mins in the end. First time I've been and already advised people not to go.
