    Great food, restaurant is welcoming and relaxing. Able to carry on conversations. Jake was a great waiter very informed on menu. Food is beautifully presented, we enjoyed the evening and will be back.

    Second time there. And we sent other people there as well. Food was great. Still have some issues with the hostess both times that I visited for whatever reason, that being said definitely worth a visit they do have some very unique dishes.

    Food was barely warm at best, also nothing exciting about any dishes ordered from flavors to presentation.. a la carte so gets pricey ordering each dish which feeds barely one. Most said that night they were there just to try it and won't be back

    Amazing experience of food, wine and overall enjoyment. Our server and especially the sommelier were top notch.

    We were sat 45 minutes late for our reservation. The pastas were not great. Both were too sweet and the pasta was too al dente. Smaller size portions but enough food for sure. The burrata ball was good but served in a fancy pastry cup, just weird and too pretentious. The waiter was stressed and running around. All in all, there are much better Italian restaurants in Scottsdale.

    We celebrated my Husband birthday or wedding anniversary and my birthday. Our Server Stephen and his Assistant were amazing! The food was choice top of our list for celebration and just a date night from now on. Cheers to the Chef!

    last night we had dinner at La Zozzona Restaurant. What started out as a nice evening, turned into an almost 3 hour dinner. We only ordered cocktails, appetizers and only pasta. Drinks took a long time - though they were beautiful and very good. Shared appetizers were not delivered at the same time, but the pasta (their specialty!) took a long time. When I said something to the hostess - she said she would look into it. Then a restaurant general manager shows up and says there is a problem in the kitchen - the pasta station was overwhelmed and a new person was on staff. When the dessert menu arrive one person in our party wanted to order, but said they couldn't imagine how long it would take! Parking was validated and it didn't work! $10 self parking is a lot for a pricey hotel restaurant. We should have valeted. Overall the food was good - not exceptional.

    The restaurant itself was smartly decorated but the temperature was a bit too cool. Wifey and I knew the chef from restaurants in San Diego and knew he was talented. We split a celery and romaine heart salad. Their version of a Caesar. It was delicious. Just enough anchovy flavor to remind you of what you’re eating. Wifey wanted to try the mozzarella stick. I thought, “at these prices why order bar food”? I was wrong. It was served looking like a dark skinny corn dog. A tomato sauce was served with it. I thought it was really tasty. For the main course we both ordered the Branzino. It was served with a salad that looked like my divot and the fish was atop a bit of cannellini beans with sausage. The Branzino was plentiful and perfectly cooked for me. The beans could have been delicious had the line chef not poured an abundance of salt in it. My buddy just felt like cacio e Pepe . It might have been good but we’ll never know. Another bushel of salt wound up on his pasta dish. It was my birthday so they threw in a scoop of ice cream with little squares of cheesecake around it. A VERY nice gesture but if I had to pay for it I would not have been happy. I believe I would return but not soon. Plus I’d try to sneak into the kitchen the night before and hide the salt.

    Truly a wonderful dinner. A most wonderful meal for our anniversary: it’s been a long time since I’ve been impressed by a new restaurant. From the welcome bubbles and focaccia to the fried squash blossoms, to the pasta zozzona, and the chicken Marsala it was top notch. The table-side tiramisu was icing on a lovely anniversary.
