The LaChona brand was born out of a love for sharing incredible wine with close friends and family. Ask any Argentinian what their favorite pastime is and they will likely say “asado con familia”, or grilling with the family. Slow-cooked lechon, fire-kissed chorizo, and hand-crafted empanadas born of generational influences and traditions are all paired with the perfect Malbec, Cabernet Franc, or Semillon every Sunday. This shared familial experience, this act of “pairing” family and fine dining, defines the essence of LaChona’s food and wine experience.

                          Used to enjoy when they were a food cart. This is the second time here and service was very slow with just a couple tables. I ordered the criolla empanada and did not have the filling as described and dry. I’m Argentinian and the chimichurri was dry too which is not normal. Last I saw our plates sitting on the counter which was confirmed when brought and the fries were tepid. Was excited to try again but sadly won’t be back.

                          My table was ready right when I arrived and I was quickly seated. The restaurant was super busy! Just about every single table was taken. I know the waitstaff were doing the best they could but they definitely needed more staff. It took a little while for the server to come take our order and then it took another while to get our food. The humita and abuela Chona are my favorite and as always they were delicious! It was disappointing that they empanadas came out first and then later the fries. I would have liked everything at once. And then we didn’t see anyone from waitstaff until the end of the I was able to order some to go, but not seeing waitstaff, we had to wait a while plus no water refills. I understand how busy it was and just hope that on busy weekend nights they add more staff to help. Other than that, food was great, the waitstaff that was there was friendly I just know they were slammed.

                          Such a great, informative server - & great food with nice presentation. It’s quiet enough to hold a conversation (how nice!), a small space, but cozy. I We’ll definitely return!

                          Such a delightful dining experience. The restaurant is comfortable, the food is enjoyable, and the staff is delightful. Definitely worth checking out!

                          Loved the place and the design of the menu. It was just hard to see one waitress covering the entire place across two busy floors.

                          First time visiting and it was lovely. The staff were friendly and full of helpful information, the food was just great and the assortment of bubbles, wines and drinks had everyone at our table happy. I’ll be back.

                          Mushroom blue cheese empanada= delicious! Spicy chicken with a glass of Malbec..so good. Brownie dessert. 5 stars.

                          Such a lovely restaurant. All the food was soooo yummy. The empanadas were perfect - the dough was nice and flaky and not too greasy or fried. Great Argentinian wine selection. Plus the staff was sooooo nice and hospitable - they made us feel like family!

                          We couldn’t have enjoyed our dinner more! A group of six, never been to LaChona before but decided to give it a try. The food was fabulous, the wine flights were tasty, and the service was impeccable. Perfect for small groups who want a fresh, new experience.
