Beautiful Christmas dining experience and great price for holiday buffet. Wonderful variety. The meats were over cooked but the seafood selections and variety of everything else was fantastic. Gorgeous setting and excellent staff. It was a special experience and I’d highly recommend

It is my 2nd time here at Lantern’s Edge! First we went for a dinner, and I love, love the fig & brie; must try! I want to have a to-go for myself. 🤭 Octopus is so good as well! Must try the burrata!! 2nd time, we went to eat for brunch yesterday. They have a wide variety of food! If you are a seafood lover, you will love their brunch buffet!!! They have unlimited mimosas too; I don’t drink much, but I love their mimosas. I think they have brunch every weekend. But because it was Christmas, they opened a brunch buffet. Our server, Jiyan is very accommodating and keeps on checking us if we are comfortable, and if we need something. Definitely will comeback for Dinner!!!

Great Christmas buffet brunch which included snow crab legs; shrimp cocktail, candied bacon (!), Christmas ham, prime rib, seafood paella and omelet station (among many others). Service was good (it is a buffet), and the view outstanding. Expensive, but delicious!

Lanter's Edge has beautiful views, there is no disputing that. We were there for breakfast. Our table was dirty and at least one coffee mug had something stuck inside it. Being that our party ranged in age from 61 to 90, none of us had enough of an appetite to have either the regular or special brunch ($45 to $73 each.) We were given a limited menu to order off of and four of us had the eggs benedict - delicious!! One had the Monte Cristo and said it was also delicious. We all had coffee and found it to be much like they serve in the upstairs bar area - water with a hint of coffee taste. It was the same with the regular and decaf and would definitely skip it next time since $45 each, for a total bill of $220 (20% tip included whether the service was good or not), seemed a bit high for the quantity and quality. The restaurant is WAAAAAAYYYYY to noisy for our age range. Every one talking loud, doors opening and closing constantly (bringing in the cold air) and dishes clanking (or crashing to the ground at the table across from us.) Would probably choose a local restaurant next time. The in-room dining was very disappointing. The fish taco's were good, but the tomato bisque was way too salty (and no spoon to eat it with) and the kids chicken fingers were over cooked and over salted. Disappointed in the number of options for sure. We received the requested pitcher of ice water, however the glasses were too dirty to drink from. This is still such a beautiful hotel and the staff are all very nice. I have been staying here for at least 20 years and will stay there again without hesitation.

Staff and food were great, however the live music was far too loud for such a small space. We originally had a a patio reservation for brunch but moved inside so we could hear each other. Our server was lovely about accommodating our apologetic ask, despite the restaurant being busy.

Innovative menu: maitake mushroom starter, picanha steak and ube cake all excellent. Service attentive and also excellent. Good prices fair with 20% obligatory service charge added to bill automatically. Will go back.

Thanksgiving buffet review, Our reservations were made for 7 pm. There was no warning about this time slot when we made the choice to come here. As we checked in we were then notified the buffet closes at 8, better hurry! Excuse me? He told me the warning is on the site I booked, we argued, he went to the website to show me up and only proved me right instead. Didn't matter. We went to our table, what could we do, it's 7 on Thanksgiving. Trapped. So we are sat at 7, we are told to wait for our server before going to the food stations. Fine. I try to follow establishments rules, they must be in place for some reason. 7:15 rolls around and here comes our server. Not a care in the world. Starts small talk. What is happening?!?! I finally said I was told we need to eat because you're closing, let's go!. We then received a 5 minute tour. Omg, 7:23 we finally have plates, food does look really good. The first food station had some great options and we did a great job of filling our plates for round 1. As we turned to leave the area and head back to our table, my girlfriend whispered "all the servers are staring at us, I think waiting for us to leave". No sooner were we 10 steps away we heard the loud sounds of buffet lids being slammed shut, serving sooons and tongs thrown into carts. The food station was being torn down ...7:30. Not 8. Oh I forgot to mention. The price is $165 per person! 7:40 and the server has come over twice and asked "is there anything else I can get you?" Bro. We haven't even had a 2nd round. We push away round 1 and we go see what's left for round 2. And we know the staff is waiting on us. My girlfriend became uneasy, she said forget it and went looking for the desserts. Not me, I piled crab legs on top of everything I could get to, And then hurried back to the table. The second I sit down, our server, "better get dessert now". 7:45. I hate this place. We were charged full price and no food left @7:50. We got our check at 8:30. Nice touch

Our first year here. Our new tradition. EVERYTHING was incredible!! They go above & beyond in Every way!!! Such a memorable experience 4 the fam!!!!! So grateful!!!!! 🙏
