Lars Bar & Grill is a neighborhood restaurant offering a blend of fine cuisine and a
relaxed atmosphere. Focused on wood-fired steak and fresh local seafood, the modern Australian menu features dishes like Fresh Oysters, ½ Shell Baked Scallops with Harissa butter, and Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli with Brown Butter and Sage. Mains include Dry Aged T-Bone Stockyard Black Angus, Stockyard New York Strip Wagyu, BBQ Bangalow Pork Tomahawk with Onion Mustard Jus Gras, and Pan-Fried Knobby Snapper with Beurre Meunière, Lemon, and Capers.

    We enjoyed a long lunch for two on a Sunday afternoon. Serices was brisk and attentive, with friendly, personable staff all round. The food (steak frites) was outstanding. We opted for that smaller meal option vs other steak size options due to plans later but the meal was one of the best of that dish we've had on the coast. Wine and drinks list were adequate. Would definitely go back!

    A great spot with delicious food and excellent service. The staff were very welcoming, and the food was served quickly. Definitely a fantastic place for celebrating special occasions!

    A well banced and innovated menu with a selection of not often seem offers. Welcome back to beef tartare and duck rillettes. Fresh and delicately sliced raw seafood and excellent sides of roast potatoes and grilled greens. Rump steak was flavourful and perfectly cooked (rare) as it shouldl be. Good choice of wines by the glass.

    We loved our Sunday lunch at Lars. Our steak and oysters were 10/10 the service was impeccable and the vibe was lovely. Highly recommend and well done Lars.

    Highly recommend. Atmosphere and service were outstanding. New favourite steak restaurant as the quality of the food was divine.

    Some great dishes. Some average dishes. Host Sam, head waiter Shane exceptional. If they weren’t there, would have rated lower. Good but for a $2k bill, needs to come up a notch.
