The LAST RUN ROOM is classic oyster bar brought to you by Chef Harding Lee Smith of "The Rooms" Restaurant Group in Portland Maine. His first restaurant at Sunday River Ski Resort, The Mountain Room, has garnered national acclaim as the best on snow dining in the USA. The Last Run room, features multiple varieties of local oysters, 3 types of house made ramen and other savory treats. A lively intimate space invites you. Loved the atmosphere. We did have two different servers come to the table and give different information for the specials but it all worked out. We ended up being 4 people instead of 5 and they seemed a little put off by that.

Food was outstanding, service was very good. The room is very small and very noisy. It was difficult to speak with the server.

The food was delicious but a few hiccups with service. We were served the wrong bottle of wine, not a big deal and the server handled it. The timing of the food was way off, we ordered oysters as starters, but out entrees came out as soon as the oysters were placed on the table. Tiny table, too crowded to fit a bottle of wine, oyster tray and entrees. Felt very rushed.

We had a group of 6 in an outdoor igloo. The blankets provided were a nice touch and the privacy of the igloo was great to be able to converse and also play a little background music. There were 8 specials on the night we went and all were fabulous. Service was attentive even for being outside the restaurant. Sound highly recommend for Hugh quality food and a fun experience
