Overall nice food but not wow'ed so a little disappointed as the reviews I had read said it was excellent. Not sure if they were short staffed but it was difficult to get any attention and no one asked if we were enjoying the food. Would recommend a veggie option on the afternoon tea menu. Thought the restaurant was lacking in atmosphere. Would not be in a rush to return.

You can't fault the food or service. Waiter smiled throughout and was attentive and food lovely. Unfortunately there is no atmosphere or ambiance so it really is just some tables in a white room where there aren't very many people at at that and we went on a Friday night.

We chose Le Chinois as we do each year for our wedding anniversary and again it didn't disappoint. G&T's were long and cold and the Tiger beer had the right bite! Room was warm and nicely laid out and food was at its best again. Seschuan chicken for my wife was excellent and my chicken curry was similar to a massaman, thicker sauce and very spicy. Vincent the manager was on hand throughout the meal and staff were very attentive. We would certainly recommend Le Chinois to our friends and any other discerning diners.

Convenient location and nice decor as inside hotel, but doesn't feel like a Chinese restaurant, food was below average, service was slow but very good effort to please. The main positive is that it's quiet and spacious, so not like the other busy Chinese eateries in London.

Very poor food, worse than average Chinese, expensive and not in keeping with the reviews, far better restaurants around, probably the worst meal I have had for a couple of years

Well i was hoping to find a good Chinese restaurant at Knights Bridge, I should have known when it was empty that it’s not a good sign. The food was average at best, and the plates small. They gave out wrong utensils to take food off the plates, who uses small forks for orange chicken? Everything was over priced, and no bartender either. Waitress was not that friendly either. Food quality was average. If i’m going to spend $300 USD on a meal for 5, presentation better be good and waiters perfect. I suggest going some place else.

Brilliant restaurant and loved the food, only marked down as cleanliness on table cloth was not as good as it could have been.
