The Lotus Room is an intimate private dining room that is located near the entrance to the main dining room and visible through wrought-iron French doors. With seating for up to 14 guests, the room pays homage to the official flower of Vietnam and is anchored by a Jonas Wickman mural rendered in gentle tropical tones. Exclusive tasting menus with wine pairings prepared by Culinary Director Nicole Routhier and Executive Chef Hassan Obaye are available by request. Transport your guests to another time and place for your next corporate or social gathering. The lounge area provides an intimate setting with black and white photos of 1920's Saigon, potted palms, Oriental rugs and ambient music setting the stage for your experience - perfect for a reception style event or a seated dinner for up to 125 guests. Enjoy plated canapes, a buffet station and cocktails. Take advantage of the weather on our veranda, extending the lounge area via French doors to an al fresco environment.

Our waiter tonight was Corey. Corey was knowledgeable of the menu and his recommendations were great. The dumplings are delicious, the bee tart is an acquired but tasty. The guacamole is what makes it good. The egg roll was delicious and the duck was very tender. The sticky rice was flavorless , however that sir fry rice was excellent. Please order the lychee martinis it was freaking amazing , this is my favorite drink when I see it I always get it. This time it was magic in a cup. I know this place during the spring is beautiful,I am definitely looking to return during spring for brunch.

The starters were very good but for once the mains exceeded in taste and presentation. Usually you can count on the starters to be flavor packed and you wish you had a double order of that for your main. But in this case it was reversed.The shaking beef ("our most popular dish") was amazing. There's a reason it's popular. The seared tuna and salmon were outstanding. I perhaps give the edge to the tuna. The rolls and dumplings and salads were terrific. They just couldn't hold a candle to the big plates. The staff is efficient and friendly.The large, heavy drinking groups ordering the specialty whole fried fish can get a bit loud. The room is beautiful, dark and lit in a way that you don't feel the people around you. It's also great at lunch. We'll be back.

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, regardless of my experience, but that’s how disappointed I was with the NYE prix fixe dinner at Le Colonial. This was not my first visit to the restaurant, but it will likely be my last. For $125 per person and a reservation that had to be secured in advance, I expected a much more polished and memorable experience. Instead, I was underwhelmed. Several items on the prix fixe menu were out of stock, and I was offered sorbet as a substitute for dessert. For the price, that felt like a poor trade-off. The menu allowed for one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert. I chose the duck confit, which I’ve had before at Emporium Kitchen in Savannah and rated a 10/10. However, the portion at Le Colonial was extremely small, and the duck was overcooked—far from what I expected. As the countdown to the New Year approached, the staff hurriedly passed out champagne and party accessories, but there was no formal countdown or festive moment to mark the occasion, which added to the lackluster experience. As a fellow business owner, I couldn’t help but feel the evening was overpriced and poorly planned. My husband and I both agreed that we’re unlikely to return. On a positive note, the bartender and server were very kind. Our server showed empathy and tried their best to accommodate for the unavailable items, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, their efforts couldn’t make up for the overall disappointment.

I spent 125$ per person for a preset three course dinner for new years eve. Although the food that came out was either decent or very good it was quite frustrating that the already limited meal choices were even more limited as there were multiple menu items which "already ran out" - our dinner was set for 8:30PM - mind you this was not even close to the end of the night so poor kitchen planning on the restaurants end. I had to already reserve a pay ahead of time with the expected menu which included items such as a half dozen oysters and chocolate mousse - both of which were not available upon ordering. 20% tip is included in your charge - but food quality and availability was not worth this 20%. Service was decent but not spectacular - we were required to ask for silverware settings and were provided the wrong dishes to different patrons sitting down as well as had to wait 20 minutes past our reserved table time. We did order extra cocktails upon arrival - which racked up our 20% tip as well - Total initial price (with tip included was 600$, at the end of the night I spent a total of 777$ just on four people). The place was nice and would go again; however it was severely overpriced (or overvalued) for what we received in return.

Amazing in all respects, as always. The service is top notch and it starts with their GM Paul. The food is outstanding - French Vietnamese with plenty of vegetarian options. The wine selection is excellent. High recommended.
