   Two gals out to lunch to celebrate our Birthdays. Our lunch was absolutely marvelous. Staff so professional and nice. Restaurant is fabulously beautiful.

   Our first experience at Le Colonial was outstanding. It is a beautiful restaurant with, well, colonial ambiance and lively, yet muted, dining. Service was excellent from beginning to end. Our wait staff was attentive and helpful. We appreciated the up-front briefing on shareable small and large plates, as well as how much to order to satisfy hearty appetites. Every dish was exquisitely prepared and presented, each sauce was uniquely spiced to complement the ingredients, unlike lesser restaurants where the sauces typically taste the same. We especially enjoyed the pork ribs, marinated vegetable salad, chicken curry and grilled steak. The menu items are expensive but not unreasonably so compared with similar high-end restaurants in Denver. The wine list however seemed poor value. We will be back to celebrate another special occasion!

   We enjoyed our first meal here. Ambiance and service was great. Colonial vibe is different. Well appointed dining room. Food was tasty and different, what we were looking for.

   Truly a shining star food wise here in Denver. Portions are shareable and really quite lovely. We had the filet and chicken curry- both were exquisite flavor wise. The pork shrimp rolls and dumplings were phenomenal. Cocktails were passing our table looking delicious and fun. Our waiter, started with P for privacy, was really fantastic. Shared some info about the menu and creativity and was super attentive. We will definitely be back!

   It’s Restaurant Week. We were not offered a special menu so we assumed they weren’t participating. So we ordered off the regular menu. The tables on both sides of us had special restaurant week menus with better pricing and 3-course meals. So I went to the host stand and said we were not given RW menus and we had already ordered. They didn’t apologize and said it was our fault for not requesting it. Really? No other restaurant we have been to has it upon request. It’s like having to ask for what the specials are? I told them that don’t make sense. Again no apology. Plus one item came out that was the wrong item and we had to ask 3 times for more peanut sauce. A very poor evening.

   Brad, my sincerest apologies that the Restaurant Week Menu was not made available to your and guests. We would never attempt to switch the experience on you, and I assure you this error was accidental. I would love to help you and your guest achieve the experience that you came in for. I would greatly appreciate your correspondence if you can give me a call at the restaurant so that we may correct this error and show you how amazing this experience can truly be.    it was like being in an old Casablanca movie with Elegance and Class around me the service and food was outstanding as well, big love and my compliment to the Chef

   Denver’s best new restaurant- everything on the menu that we’ve tried is amazing. Cocktails are superb too.

    From the bright, opulent, and boho themed decor to the warm and homey meals bursting with flavor and the staff who was beyond personable and knowledgeable Le Colonial is a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back and telling all my friends I know they will have a great experience especially if they get Charles as their waiter!
