At Le Coq & fils, we come to peck, yap, and celebrate beautiful French heritage poultry breeds. A 100% poultry centric and bistronomique Cuisine for fine beaks! A unique experience, signed by Chef Antoine Westermann, for poultry meat lovers.

We are talking here about high level sustainability, pure poultry breeds, good genes, strong relations with committed farmers and producers engaged in animal welfare and a campaigner Chef.

More than a rotisserie, it is a tribute to poultry that begins with plenty of hors d'oeuvres to share.

Before being roasted our fowls are slowly poached in broth according to Chef Antoine Westermann's exclusive technique. They are served whole to be shared by two, three, four or more, accompanied by garlic confit, jus, home fries, mashed potatoes with chicken broth, Mac & cheese suggestions saisonnières. As it is very vegetarian friendly, Le Coq & fils offers a large selection of veggie hors d’œuvres as well, a must

    The simple elegance of Le Coq & Fils was a perfect backdrop for an outstanding dinner of the most perfectly crafted chicken of the finest quality. Chef’s process of simmering chicken in broth before roasting ensured a delectable dish brimming with flavor. The mashed potatoes were buttery and wonderful, alongside the jus of the chicken. A simple salad dressed in a perfect olive oil and vinegar ratio topped with chives provided a bright balance to our meal. Simply outstanding. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Was a great meal. The menu was easy ro understand and everyone spoke English if you had any questions. Will definitely go back.

    We went on Easter Sunday with reservations. There were three of us and there were no tables of three available. We were seated at a large party table in the back with families all around. We could barely talk there was so much conversation happening all around us. The food was ok. My roasted chicken was really tough. Not sure why that happened - but the parties around us seemed to enjoy their food. Our server was very nice. But the entire experience was not great.

    Dear J, we are so sorry and sad while reading you comment. you were seated at Chef Westermann signature table - the communal table. We are a little nest in Montmatre, and have 3 different atmosphère, the cellar room with our communal table, the show kitchen, and a small classic dinning room. We are so so sorry you did not like our accommodation. When your refer to the chicken it is true that it is a little bit tougher than regular chicken as we only serve heritage breeds rooming in pasture (though) living over 145 days (texture and taste) and so on. Total welfare, and committed farmers. So sorry you didi not enjoy it. Respectfully, Le Coq & fils the poultry house entire team.

    Best meal I had during my 5 days in Paris. The best chicken I have ever had!! 10/10 recommend this restaurant. We didn't know it at the time but the founder has three Michelin stars, we thought that was pretty cool.

    My husband and I have been to Paris a few times but never had a chance to have Parisian chicken. Partly because I am a vegetarian. In this trip, I decided it was time for my husband to have chicken in Paris. We made a reservation at Le Coq and Fils before the trip and I noticed on their menu they had potatoes and vegetables as side dishes and knew I would be fine. We entered the beautifully appointed restaurant with the aroma of freshly cooked chicken which smelled so enticing as if you were in your grandmother’s kitchen waiting for Sunday night dinner. The restaurant is small and super friendly. The tables are beautifully table clothed with just the right amount of space in-between tables. My husband ordered chicken and french fries and I ordered potato purée with vegetables. We struck up a lovely conversation with the people next to us who commented on how interesting that we chose this restaurant when all the serve is chicken. The chicken and sides arrived and were plated beautifully. The chicken looked so moist and tender and had some of the chicken gravy poured on top. I had to try the chicken because of the amazing and inviting smell and the reaction from my husband after his first bite!!! It was the best tasting chicken I have ever eaten. Full of natural flavor, juicy and cooked to perfection. I am a vegetarian for health reasons but I am going home to the United States with a new found love for Parisian chicken. I will try and recreate it at home and I hope I can come close. The wait staff and chefs were so friendly and made us feel very welcomed. If you are in Paris and make your way to the Monmarte district, and you want the best chicken in the world, make a reservation, sit back and enjoy one of the best meals in Paris. Bon Apetit!

    We went to dinner at Le Coq & Fils on our last night in Paris. It turned out to be the best meal we had on this five day trip. We had the best squab we have ever had. Service was exceptional from the whole team. We will certainly return for more. We will highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

    The chicken gizzards are wonderful. Unfortunately they did not have the squab which is why I went there. The Coq au vin was classic and good.
