   We ate at the Primland bar and were wowed by their wings and their chicken leg/thigh dish. So we were expecting great things from the main fine dining room. They say jackets are recommended but optional - frankly I was disgusted by the dress of most of the clientele - cu too sweats - really? The wine list is heavily balanced to the 3-4 digit price range so difficult to get a well priced bottle of wine. We found the smoked trout hushpuppies dry and tasteless. saw flakes of fish but had not really flavor.. The pork chop was smothered in an overly rich, salty sauce. Not sure that the roe added anything. Usually I would ask for bread to soak up a sauce one meat but this was heartburn on a plate. Stick with the bar - menu and even the ambiance is better!

   Food and service were excellent. Great cocktails as well. We enjoyed the southern chopped salad and halibut - delicious!

   We enjoyed our wine tasting at Primland. Not entirely French but the rationale for including Oregon and California Chardonnay was sound. 150 is step but the wines were highly valued so it was worth it. The charcuterie was plentiful and tasty - though one guy hogged an entire plate for himself. He was the same one who filled his glass with the group favorite and then left with his burgundy - there is one in every bunch. The 'somm' did less guidance than at most tastings and voiced his opinion that we as a group could discuss wine details.

   We had a totally lovely time dining here. Our server Aaron was so gracious and we felt incredibly welcome dining here with our infant.

   I had dinner and breakfast at LeatherFlower, and the food was good overall. However, my French toast at breakfast was burned, which took me by surprise. I wondered if the chef had overlooked it or was trying to salvage a piece. Everything else was great, but I did feel a bit rushed during breakfast.

   Breakfast was absolutely delightful! We had the French toast and smoked salmon, and both were exceptional. The French toast was perfectly golden, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet, while the smoked salmon toast was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. A fantastic start to the day!

   The trout hush puppies, halibut, and chicken were absolutely amazing! Each dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and incredibly delicious. The hush puppies had the perfect crisp on the outside with a rich, savory interior, the halibut was tender and fresh, and the chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

   Delicious food. Recommend the lamb. Ask for a wine pairing. Shout out to Jon. Beautiful place. Coming back again.

   We were well-cared for by the staff and the meal was extraordinary…. Smoke in Chimneys Trout for two, scalloped potatoes and a delicious Southern Choped salad…. Prepared to perfection… Then I had to see the desert menu and glad we did…. Chocolate custard…. Perfect with a cup of coffee…. The title does not fully depict the flavors…. Milk chocolate caramel, Salted chocolate crunch, rum butterscotch Look forward to next time…

    Our reservations got canceled at another restaurant at the last minute because of a power outage…boy was I glad they were. This was our first visit and it was amazing. The views at sunset were incredible. The food, staff, and establishment were perfection. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, and the best carrot cake we’ve ever had! This will definitely be our new Valentine’s Day tradition. Thank you for saving the day Leatherflower!
