We booked Sunday lunch at Lilliput kitchen on 08th June. We were sat upstairs with a fantastic window table and amazing views. We ordered the corned beef hash browns and peppers with whipped goats cheese, both were excellent and very flavourful. We followed with a roast beef and a pork belly, very tasty and tender, the spring greens were particularly delicious. The roast dinners were plentiful, cooked very well and obviously the ingredients were of a high quality. The service was impressive and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I was surprised that there wasn’t a service charge on the bill. With service like we received it would have guaranteed the great staff a tip. We did leave one, as it was thoroughly deserved. Overall a great lunch experience.

We had Sunday lunch, those who lamb said it was very nice but the beef was tough and a cheaper cut of beef. Potatoes were hard on the outside, difficult to cut rather than crispy. At the price I expected more of a wow.

Our first visit, taken back at the prices however after seeing and tasting the food I was happy to pay the price. We would return.

Very expensive for a poor sunday roast. Potatoes were chewy and had clearly spent hours under a hot lamp, beef was tough and hard to cut, cheesy leeks were undercooked, mashed sweded was underseasoned. I wouldn't have been happy if the roast had cost £15, but £28 for this was a joke. Location and service were nice, totally let down by the bad and overpriced food.

We visited Lilliput Farm Kitchen for a table for two on Sunday afternoon, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The setting was charming, and the food was well-prepared and nicely presented. A special mention goes to Izzy, our waitress, who was fantastic throughout. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt looked after without being intrusive, her service really added to the overall experience. The Sunday roast was tasty and satisfying, although we found the gravy slightly bitter for our taste, perhaps just a tweak in seasoning would make a big difference. That said, the rest of the meal was very enjoyable, and the dessert was absolutely delicious a definite highlight! While we felt the prices were on the higher side, the quality of food and service mostly justified it. We would certainly recommend Lilliput Farm Kitchen to others looking for a pleasant, relaxed meal in a cosy countryside setting.

We had a wonderful evening at Lilliput. The food was delicious, our service was friendly knowledgable and efficient (despite some technical difficulties making life hard for our waitress). The jazz was really very lovely and perfectly suited the setting. We enjoyed dinner whilst watching the sun set and jazz played in the background… what could be more perfect?! Highly recommend! We can’t wait to visit again!
