Living Foods aims to bring the Kauai community healthy food choices, upscale groceries, and a fun, casual café and restaurant environment for Kama’aina & Tourists alike to gather. At Living Foods, Ohana means bringing guests together around high-quality and socially conscious products and ingredients on a daily basis.

Living Foods features a fully-stocked grocery with ready-made to-go items as well as more permanent fixtures for weekly grocery needs. Living Foods café features coffee and fresh baked goods, and is open daily. The all-day restaurant at Living Foods will feature breakfast, lunch, and dinner, highlighting menu items such as Fried Rice, Bibimbap, Aguachile, and Smash Burger and is open from 7am to 10pm.

Whether just enjoying Kauai for a week or more permanently, Living Foods is a community where guests can reliably source quality products to feed themselves and their families. At Living Foods, we are always celebrating the craft of Aloha.

    This is the first time we've been to a restaurant where not one staff member had a smile. All looked so glum & unhappy. We ordered fish & chips. The fish had spent way too long in the fryer. Very dry and somewhat hard. Maybe the poor food was a reflection of an obviously unhappy staff.

    The food was amazingly delicious!!!! Unfortunately the service was not, Have never felt so rushed out of a restaurant :( it was my 50th bday and not only was it the most rushed dinner I have ever had but they made you feel like you were imposing. So sad, too bad the experience didn’t match the impeccable food. Not the way I wanted to pass a milestone bday, had such high hopes.

    The food was amazing. Every single dish was terrific. The kale salad absolutely delicious the Ono amazing the poke delicious we loved it all, and Eva was a lovely server

    Great food at a reasonable price. They also have no corkage fee for wines purchased in their grocery store next door. Cool swag too.

    Ordered a “chef’s cut” steak & was served a hunk of fat; barely was able to find edible beef. Both my husband and I ordered this & both steaks were unacceptable. Notified the server, didn’t eat much at all & they discounted 20%, but we left hungry and still overpaid for inedible beef fat. Very sad. Beware that the steak is not of high quality AT ALL! Assumed that “living foods” would have high quality food, but was extremely disappointed.

    This restaurant needs 6+ stars. I'm from Philly and know great food. I was greeted with a smile. I came in the wrong entrance and was escorted to the correct check in desk. The waitress was off the chain nice and helpful. I had the best mahi mahi over sticky black rice I've ever had. It melted in my mouth! The market is quaint with tons of fun offerings including a bakery and coffee shop. Put this restaurant on ur itinerary. You won't be disappointed!!!!
