   It was our first time, so trying to figure out what to order….going back we would need to try the Meat balls & pasta dishes….definitely would reorder espresso martini & faccacia bread with pesto sauce!

   As always, the brick-oven pizzas are fantastic; I only wish the restaurant pays just much attention to their appetizers and desserts. They were not bad but could be orders of magnitude better if they were served at the proper temperature. We ordered Mama Carmela's meatballs in marinara sauce and grilled octopus for appetizers; while the sauce was piping hot, the meatballs were cold. The grilled octopus was a bit gummy- perhaps overcooked. For dessert, we ordered the zeppoline amalfi (donut holes with nutella sauce); and the donuts were cold and chewy. A quick trip to the deep fryer would have made this soooo much better. We'd still go back for the pizza, hopefully a bit more attention is paid to the rest of the menu in the future.

   The service & food was good. The basil tiny I ordered was not good tasting, so I sent it back. The bread was just ok, but the side sauce was amazing.

   I am glad we discovered this jewel in downtown Pleasanton. The food was amazing! There were 5 of us, and we all ordered different items, and they were all cooked to perfection! The staff was friendly and helpful. The Mediterranean decor with the had painted tiles well coordinated with the dishes in which the food was served enhanced the experience making it even more enjoyable. This is the place my family and I will be coming back more and more. Thank you, Locanda Amalfi!

   Food ambiance and service did not disappoint. Sat outside on beautiful sunny day and ventured inside which was very inviting as well. Food was yummy and arrived timely.

   Absolutely amazing experience and would 100% go back. There were six of us so we shared several appetizers including their world-famous pizza! The place is vibey and the service is outstanding. They always seemed to know when to come by the table. Between the six of us, we had a variety of dishes including the pappardelle, the lasagna, the Caesar, deserts, cocktails, wine…. Not a critical comment in the bunch. We can’t wait to go back!

   What a great Italian spot! My family and I went to try the Margherita pizza, which we heard was one of the best in the world - and it definitely lived up to the hype! We also ordered the spaghetti alla vongole, the gnocchi al tartufo, the ravioli di aragosta, and the pappardelle bolognese - all of these we enjoyed as well! Plus, you can't go wrong with the tiramisu and limoncello cake. Service was really awesome, as well! Shoutout to our server who gave us free complimentary shots at the end of lunch! Overall really recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting downtown Pleasanton!

    Ambiance - outside eating, beautiful weather, very nice. Service - prompt and attentive, polite. Food - excellent. Had Arancini, Focaccia, beet salad and Margherita pizza which was amazing. Absolutely would go again for special occasion.
