The waiter was rude and tried to move us along so he could get another party. He told us the restaurant was busy when we were sitting. He didn't listen to us. He brought the wrong order for my wife and asked her "what did you do?" He was an idiot. His is Luigi. Paul

I have visited two other Locanda locations, but this one in Livermore is the best! The ambiance was nice, fairly quiet, but not very crowded, expected on an early middle of the week evening. The service was attentive and very friendly. The food was excellent. I enjoyed the gnocchi dish; my friend enjoyed his Chicken Marsala. We particularly enjoyed the Tiramisu. If you want a variation from the typical Tiramisu, try Locanda's! Although neither of us had any wine, the wine menu is varied, with many wines to chose, either by the glass/bottle, or just by the bottle. There is a full bar, beer options to choose from, and Italian sparkling water, to name a few of the beverages. For a special occasion, this is a great place, but if you want to feel special and indulge yourself a little, then dine here! Don't let not having a special occasion keep you from trying this out!

Always trying something different when there! The lasagna was a bit too sweet for me. I was told it’s because the tomato’s simmer a long time. 🤔 That flavor was a bit distracting….. The olive tapenade was delicious! Of course my go to start the meal drink is the Nutella martini….yum! I asked for a Godfather….great job bar-keep!

Food was great! The hot Italian chilli sauces are wonderful, they make the meal! Nutella martini was like chilled spiked cocoa with Nutella and pistachios on the side, a dessert in itself!

Always fresh and delicious! Staff is always great as well. Definitely recommend an Aperol Spritz to accompany your meal!

Excellent food and service!! The staff made us feel like we were at a family members house so friendly and inviting. We had the zucchini flowers which are to die for. The lasagna was out of this world, the eggplant was flavorful, pesto gnocchi amazing all of the food was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. Will definitely eat there again!!
