Locust brings a chaotic elegance to Nashville's dining scene. Chef Trevor Moran and team carefully assemble an ever-changing menu highlighting seafood and local, seasonal products: think raw bar selection, whole grilled fish, a decadent crab omelette, all rounded out with tea and biscuits shaved ice.

On Sunday nights, the team pumps out dumplings folded to order for a more casual, walk-ins-only experience.

Lunch: Friday - Sunday 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM (reservations required)
Dinner: Friday - Saturday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (reservations required)
Sunday Walk-Ins: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (first come, first served)
Patio Bar: Friday - Sunday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

A must if you can get a reservation. Very unique, well thought out menu and EVERYTHING we tried was a 10/10. The only thing better than the food was the service. That’s not an exaggeration! We went for lunch and have heard that dinner is even better, but don’t skip out on lunch if that’s what’s available. Don’t even try leaving without ending with the shaved ice. We tried, and they insisted by bringing one to our table unsolicited and we honestly felt embarrased that almost missed out on the experience. Truly a top 10 food experience :)

Really terrific experience start to finish. Alexa was great. The tuna and onion and beef were amazing. Multiple Chefs touched the table and we really enjoyed it.

Food was insane! Order the whole menu you won’t regret it. Staff was fabulous and we had a ton of fun with them.

One of the most unique & amazing meals I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable; the staff was amazing… these people seem to love what they do and it shows! The food was absolutely delicious. An excellent experience. Highly recommend

The best meal I have had in quite a while. The entire experience was welcoming, friendly, relatable and comfortable. The servers are highly knowledgeable and excited about the food while describing the delightful, multi-layered flavors of each dish. We had the entire lunch menu, which was a bit more than we needed, but enjoyed every bit of it. Everything is so perfectly done but not at all pretentious. What a great experience in every way. We will be back soon!

From the moment we walked into Locust, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a truly memorable visit. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and genuine enthusiasm made our dining experience exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with incredible flavors, showcasing the kitchen’s dedication to quality and creativity. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was flawless—attentive without being intrusive. We can’t wait to visit again and highly recommend Locust to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience!

Amazing! Hands down the best service in Nashville. We finally got to go and have a date night away and it lived up to all of the expectations and then some. The beef tartare is a must!
