Locust brings a chaotic elegance to Nashville's dining scene. Chef Trevor Moran and team carefully assemble an ever-changing menu highlighting seafood and local, seasonal products: think raw bar selection, whole grilled fish, a decadent crab omelette, all rounded out with tea and biscuits shaved ice.

On Sunday nights, the team pumps out dumplings folded to order for a more casual, walk-ins-only experience.

Lunch: Friday - Sunday 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM (reservations required)
Dinner: Friday - Saturday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (reservations required)
Sunday Walk-Ins: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (first come, first served)
Patio Bar: Friday - Sunday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

We're celebrating New Year's Eve at Locust! Join us for a special prixe fix menu before you head to your New Year's party! Best for parties of 4, bring your friends and enjoy dumplings, shrimp toast, steak, truffles, and way too much caviar. Priced at $200 per person, your ticket includes all food, as well as a glass of champagne to begin the evening with a toast. Beverages ordered at the table may be paid at the end of your meal. Price excludes tax and service charge. Please note: We are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions of any kind for this experience. Cancellation Policy: All parties must provide a prepayment for all guests. Reservations are non-refundable if modified or cancelled any time after Sunday, December 28th.

The food was amazing, every dish was special and unique. in addition, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond in explaining dishes and making selections.

Good flavors. Decent experience. You can tell the staff cares deeply about the food they're making for you. Overall the reputation is exaggerated and there are much better food experiences in Nashville at that price point, perhaps with nearby patrons talking more about their day than the food presentation. But if you want to loudly swoon over your food, it's more acceptable here.

All the food was impeccably fresh and the presentation superb. I was entertaining guests who had just arrived from Sweden. We got one of everything and the delivery pace was excellent. Flatware was proffered and removed for each plate. We got a beautiful set of hand carved spoons that were stunning to look at but about as useful as poker chips on skewers. (Milk?) bread was perfection. Scallop crudo was visually perfect but so subtle as to taste merely of heavy cream on sushi. The beef tartare very well done (had freeze dried capers instead of jar brined). Again subtle. (“Nashville”) hot swordfish is a cute knockoff of the chicken dish but was oily in spite of being cooked to a perfect 140°. The snapper/grouper jaw on the other hand was not quite firm yet probably because of the complex bone structure blocking some of the heat. But the outside sear flavorful. Great effort by the staff but I was left wanting a little bolder flavor profile for the expense.

Always incredible food, such a fun service and experience. Playlist was A+++ One of the best restaurants anywhere.

As always, it was a fabulous meal. The food, the staff, the vibe….. Every time we are here it is a great experience. Pricey but worth every penny
