We are thrilled to invite you to our very first Longplay End of Vintage Long Lunch — a harvest celebration of great food, fine wine, and even better company. Inspired by the success of our (somewhat secretive) BYO program, this event takes cues from the legendary La Paulée tradition, inviting you to dig deep into your cellar and bring along something truly special to share with fellow guests. The afternoon will include a menu designed for long and leisurely enjoyment. Expect snacks to start, followed by a handmade pasta course, our signature dry-aged ribeye with sides, and a perfectly curated selection of cheeses to finish. The spirit of the day is all about generosity and celebration. Each guest is asked to bring a minimum of one bottle, but large format and multiple bottles are encouraged. Corkage is included in the ticket price, so don’t hold back. This is an invite-only gathering with strictly limited tickets, ensuring an intimate and convivial atmosphere. Join us as we toast to the end of vintage, surrounded by friends, winemakers, and fellow lovers of a great bottle. Date: Sunday, May 4, 2025 Time: 1:00 PM Location: LP Bistro, 131 Pirie St BYO: Minimum one bottle per person to share; large format and multiple bottles encouraged (corkage included) Price: $130pp (includes food and corkage) Tickets are extremely limited—secure your place at the table.

We came to longplay as friend recommended. The decor inside, ambiance and food was nice. But it wasn't value for money unfortunately we left hungry and very out of pocket. Mains could of came with a side of bread or small roasted potatoes maybe a small dip whilst waiting. But of reassessment needed with pricing I feel.

Longplay really does tick all of the boxes. The Special Edition menu is filled with variety and each dish perfectly accompanies the next, highly recommend! The wine list is extensive, and you will no doubt learn something new as well. My favorite part is the ambience created by the audiophile Soundsystem and vinyl that is played during the evening.

A quiet catch up between three friends. The recently expanded menu was a treat. Highlights were the beetroot and the calamari from the grill. Always good, always worth the effort. If you haven't been there...why not?

Exceptional service - warm, generous and informative. The food was great, the wine list impressive and the digestif's incredible (can't wait for the Brighter Later Green Walnut to be released!)

Limited menu but delicious food. Nice setting. Service extremely slow - waiting 40 minutes between starter and mains kind of ruins the entire experience, especially as it wasn’t overly busy at that time.
