TENrei: The Art of Tuna Ceremony at Los Mochis London City is an immersive 10-course, 12-seater experience led by Executive Head Chef. The unveiling of a whole, uncut tuna, starts the ceremony, followed by an intricate, skilful breakdown using traditional Japanese knives, where Chef Tanyag guides guests through each step of the process, from expertly filleting the fish to detailing the unique techniques and flavours of each cut, including coveted sections like otoro (fatty belly), chutoro (medium-fat), and akami (lean). Each stage is a celebration of Japanese culinary art, where guests sample the tuna’s freshest cuts immediately as they are prepared. Available every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. *Subject to availability.

This is our second time at Los Mochis. The problem is they seem to want to turn tables really quickly. We ordered quite a lot of food and it all came within 10 minutes, even before our drinks came. When you’re spending £125/150 per head you want it to be a bit more of an experience, with a few dishes brought out, cleared, and then some more. There’s no need to have “courses” but filling the table completely shows a lack of thought. Delicious food, but poor table management spoiling the experience.

The service and ambiance of the restaurant was top notch as was the quality of the food and drinks. For me I felt that the value for money was not great in terms of portion sizes. I also was not a fan of the speed that food came out, having essentially gone through to dessert within about 40 minutes of getting to the restaurant.

Incredibly pushy waiter, after being seated late, in an incredibly dark area of the restaurant, we were then constantly pressured to order as we only had a certain time. The pressure from the waiter was consistent and ruined the experience. We spent a lot of money and we’re seated late therefore we should have been constantly rushed. My absolute FAVOURITE restaurant! I can’t tell you how amazing it is to be able to go somewhere and not have to worry about what you can and cannot eat being gluten free. The service is always spot on, the value for the food is on point and the overall vibe is perfect for date night / friends night / corporate outing.

We had a great dining experience with the very friendly and helpful help of Margarita at our table. She advised on the food and drinks order in the best way. We had a great evening and the best experience.

The service was unprofessional and poor each coffee and meal was bought up to the wrong table , it took 15 mins to get a coffee and it was warm , food pretty good but the service needs to be polished badly it’s my 5th or so visit as it’s a nice venue and convenient but come on guys the service is shocking

Went because it 100% gluten free and it came highly recommended. It didn’t disappoint - the service was excellent. Marco looked after us and he was very passionate about their food, attentive and great with my kids. He explained the menu and choices really well and was patient whilst we worked out which dishes to share. We had a view of St Paul’s and it all felt very special. An amazing treat.
