Architect Jeff Svitak helped create a modern interpretation of a classic French Quarter restaurant, introducing elements of wood, marble &; rich velvet. Our lush patio seating flows seamlessly into our indoor dining space, a nod to the courtyards found across the beautiful southern city.
Our rotating food menu will be dedicated to only the best seasonal ingredients, featuring big &; bold flavors from the region. I don’t think the oxtail Rasta pasta was oxtails… it seemed more like a roast, but the flavor was excellent. The old fashion and the espresso drink were weak, and too expensive to be that weak. The catfish was a bit salty. Although these were all seem like negatives, overall the food was really good. The atmosphere was nice, the mock tails were delicious, and I would be back. Oh and The shrimp was grilled to PERFECTION!

Came here with a few colleagues to enjoy a creole infused experience. The Catfish and Lobster Mac are so delicious! They were out of a couple items when we dined but overall the experience was still fantastic. Definitely recommended dining here.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! We felt really valued here by the staff and the food was amazing. The hostess stopped by to let us know that customers like us are who makes their day good. That meant a lot. We will be back. Can’t wait until they make their way north.

We came to visit San Diego for a quick long weekend and I’m still thinking about the amazing food at Louisiana Purchase. It’s rare to have perfectly great service, food and ambiance in one place. This is the type of restaurant that would make me come back to visit just to experience it all over again.

food was average best was the biscuits the music was very annoying it was repetitive and the catfish was delicious but everything sub par sweet potatoes too sweet didn't taste fresh

The staff was absolutely so friendly. Lucas, our waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu. Every single food item we ordered was absolutely delicious, and in my opinion leftovers the next day or even better. Definitely will be returning with friends, great food and ambience.
