Conveniently set on Louisiana Street in North Park, our design of this intimate cocktail restaurant was inspired by the charm &; character of New Orleans, with creative touches of personal effects giving guests the feeling of warmth, community & fun
Architect Jeff Svitak helped create a modern interpretation of a classic French Quarter restaurant, introducing elements of wood, marble &; rich velvet. Our lush patio seating flows seamlessly into our indoor dining space, a nod to the courtyards found across the beautiful southern city.
Our rotating food menu will be dedicated to only the best seasonal ingredients, featuring big &; bold flavors from the region. Executive Chef Quinnton Austin recently relocated to San Diego from New Orleans, bringing with him an exciting wealth of knowledge &; experience in the culinary melting pot that defines southern cuisine

Very first time experiencing L.P. and I enjoyed it once I set down. The atmosphere was amazing. The warmth of tone in there from smiles, to chatter, to singing of happy birthday. I was in the right place. The bartender was welcoming, the manager (who I had no idea they were the manager) gave great conversation. My food was very well prepared, it had great taste and flavor. Yes, the portion size was good. Overall it was a great time, I enjoyed the complimentary drinks. I could go on about this place. With all this, I’ll be back!

Food and ambience was amazing. It was Fat Tuesday & they had a live band so the joint was jumping. Had such a great time and can’t wait to go back . Highly recommend this place

My family and I had a great experience here for Sunday brunch. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese, chicken and waffles, gumbo, and catfish. The dishes were excellent! Took a star off ambience because of our heater but had we been seated inside, it would have been ideal. Our heater was intermittently turning off and I suppose I could have dressed warmer. I wish they used less cheese on the Mac and cheese but overall still good. Our server was fantastic and attentive. Great music that really made the ambience better! On the pricier side but worth it. Will be back to take more friends and family! Thank you!

The food here always amazing. I ordered the oxtail Mac and cheese. The biscuits are a MUST. We went on the last Friday of the month and they were having a singles mixer. My friend isn’t single so we just watched. It was very cute.

My first time here for a birthday celebration. Hostess and our waitrees were great and attentive. Hostess was hustling hosting and cleaning tables. 1. Our party was 3 people and two of the entries came out first and I had to wait on mine to come over 5 min later…why not all served together? 2. The catfish etoufee w/mac and cheese was not good and sitting in a bowl of grease, the catfish was soggy bcz of the grease and didnt have any flavor at all. 3. The gumbo was very bland as well, no flavor and didnt eat half of it. 4. The salmon wasnt good. Nothing had any taste or flavor. Had the alligator bites for appetizer and thise were decent. We were highly dissappointed of the food and was looking for a good experience. Bill was $151…wont be returning. Too bad.
