We had Italian meatballs as an appetizer, followed by large Luca's salad that we split. We also split the entree special. The portions were large and the food tasty. Giving it three stars because it was soo loud and our waiter was rushing around trying to be everywhere, we felt rushed as well. In and out in one hour is not what I had in mind for our Saturday night date.

Ate at Lucca’s on a very busy Valentine’s Day evening. Although the entire restaurant was bustling we still thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We started with a manhattan cocktail and a pomegranate margarita which were fine. After drinks we ordered the bruschetta appetizer and found it to be delicious. The finely chopped tomatoes made it light and tasty. For entrees we ordered the chicken calabrese which was surprisingly spicy but anticipated a spicier entree as it does have calabrese peppers. We also ordered a pizza that was 1/2 gringo loco and calabrese. A combination of two of their specialty pizzas. I enjoyed the calabrese pizza more. Overall our waitress was great, and even though it was busy, we were happy with our service. Definitely would patronize again in the future.

My chicken picatta was so overdone and dry. My husband had veal saltimboca. Just ok. Love the atmosphere. Will definitely give it another try.

The food was amazing however the service was unacceptable. Never received a refill on our drinks, our appetizers came out after our eating half of our entrees and tap water was used to refill our glasses full of sparkling water.

Lucca’s is always consistent with great staff and neighborhood vibe! Food is great, Happy Hour is a great value and I would say it’s the best in LaGrange neighborhood!!

The check-in with the host stand was a bit chaotic on a bustling Saturday night in January, but food and drinks were good. If you pay with a credit card, be prepared to be charged an extra 3.5% "adjustment" (we were wondering why the table across from us was scrambling to come up with cash).
